“Where are we going?” Y/N asked. Kai had dragged her out of her house and into the woods like an hour ago without any explanation. All he did was show up at her door this morning , a wide grin on his face , said HI and dragged her outside before she even had the time to ask any questions. He turned around , an even bigger grin on his face. “Trust me.” he said stopping long enough to cup Y/N’s face and kiss her. “You will LOVE it.” Y/N sighed and just as Kai was turning around again , she grabbed his hand making him turn around. “Least you can do is give me a proper kiss.” she said , wrapping her hands around his neck pulling him into another kiss ,not willing to let go off him. Kai’s lips were soft Y/N didn’t want to part from them. “I promise , there will be a lot of kissing later.” Kai said cupping her face. Y/N gave up and followed him. The day was unusually warm for a spring day , the sun was shining high above the trees , birds chirping. Y/N caught a glimpse at a bunny hopping on its way somewhere. About 30 minutes later she heard the sound of water rumbling , like a river or … “A waterfall…” she whispered as they stepped into a clearing. Kai turned towards her grinning. “You like it ?” he asked , excitement in his voice. Y/N grinned back at him nodding. “It’s beautiful !” “That’s not all tho … Close your eyes.” Kai said as he wrapped his hands tight around her and whooshed them at the top of the waterfall. The view from the top was absolutely stunning - you could see the trees coming back to life after the long winter. Some were already blooming others still hadn’t woken up from their winter sleep. “We are going to jump !” Kai said suddenly snapping Y/N of her thoughts. Her eyes widened. Was he serious ? He wasn’t serious , not possible … Kai knew very well she was terrified of heights. Y/N took a step back shaking her head. “No. No , no …” fear in her voice. “ You are not serious … I am not jumping! Did you see how high the waterfall is ? No.” He took a step towards her , wrapping cupping her face. “The only way to conquer your fear is to face it head on.” Kai’s voice was so calming. Y/N knew he was right but that didn’t dull her fear. She glanced off the edge and then back at him. “No.” she repeated. “Do you trust me ?” Kai asked , his eyes locked on hers. Y/N nodded , starting to shake a little. She was starting to have a panic attack. "Just take a deep breath … and let it go. “ Kai said his voice soothing. She did exactly as he told her. “That’s it.” he said , and in a few minutes her breathing and heartbeat calmed down. Kai smiled at her. “OK.” she paused for a moment , looking at him. “But … promise you won’t let go of me and let me fall to my death.” Y/N laughing nervously. “You die , I die.” Kai said , cupping her face and kissing her. “I promise I won’t let go.” She gave him a nervous smile , nodded and turned around , her back to Kai. He wrapped his hands around her waist holding her tight. “Don’t be afraid.” he whispered in her ear. Y/N took a deep breath and nodded. A few seconds later Kai rushed off the cliff with his vampire speed. They hang in the air for a few moments before started to fall. Y/N screamed ,both from fear and some kind of excitement. Adrenaline kicking in. Kai holding her tight the whole time, not letting go just as he promised. With him by her side , she didn’t feel so scared. By the time they hit the cold water , Y/N’s fear of hights had started to evaporate. They hit the water with a loud splash , a few moments later Kai pulled them both on top of the water. Both of them taking a deep breath. Y/N turned around to see face him. Kai removed a few strands wet hair from her face and waited for her reaction. “That was … ” she said pausing for a moment , wrapping her hands around his neck. “… AWESOME !” Her laugh made him laugh too. “Told you ! I knew you’ll love it !” Kai said , pulling her in for a kiss. “Want to go again?” he asked raising his eyebrows. ———————— NOTE : I kind of really liked writing this one , it wasn’t planned but when the idea popped in my head - I just had to …📝😅 Hope you guys like it ! ❤ P.S.
