I agree 100% but I feel the same way about sakura. I don't think she's ever entertained the idea of being with anyone other than sasuke. Especially not naruto, itachi, and kakashi. Maybe I'm the one being bias.

And that is 1000% okay! Truthfully, in canon I would never think that she would even entertain the idea either, but I like to just kinda imagine it anyway?? Though most of my thoughts do come from AUs, where I’m much more flexible about Sakura’s character (Sasuke’s, however, oddly always remains that same “I’ve never thought about wanting to be with anyone else but Sakura”–probably because he fits the demisexual/demiromantic orientation frighteningly well) and I can imagine her having all sorts of bonds or thoughts depending on the situation. 

It just depends on the ot3 though. Like NSS I usually really NEED to have it AU, where they are in a polyamory relationship. KSS is I think the only one that I can imagine still in the ninja!verse, just not how it went on in canon. and ISS I usually need it to be non-massacre!au, sometimes while in context where Sakura is with Itachi as a kind of friends with benefits thing, while Sasuke and Sakura are in love, or sometimes polyamory as well.

But rambling aside, it’s totally understandable you could never see it any other way, and it’s likely my bias with other Sakura ships that makes me think she might have thought about being with them (mostly in AUs…like 95% of the time lmao). I think most people would probably think like you!

This is not really a request because I don't want to sound pushy. But what do you think of writing a KakaSakuSasu ot3 fic? Does that interest you? What scenario comes to mind?

I’ve always been interested in trying to write any ot3, and the lack of it for KakaSakuSasu is one reason that motivates me to try even more… But like, it’s so hard?????? I’ve attempted to write an ItaSakuSasu polyamory fic not that long ago and fuck did it not go well. I’d never had such a hard time writing a fic :’( but one day I would really really love to succeed in writing a threesome fic.

But for KSS, I’m not too sure what comes to mind. Usually I guess it just steers me in the “a one time threesome born out of Sakura’s fantasy” kind of scenario. Or AUs where Sasuke and Sakura have a very emotional bond and are utterly and completely in love, but Kakashi and Sakura have a bond full of highly sexual tension, and are perhaps fuck buddies. Or idk. It would take some thinking, I guess!

“Getting rid of me won’t be that easy.”

She had arrived from a mission half dead, stuck in bed and forced to rest for a few days is now all she can do. When Tsunade told her to take it easy she had planned to ignore her former teacher and go straight back to work. But then both Sasuke and Kakashi had arrived with worried expressions.

Kakashi sat at her left his hand over hers, from the way his eyes stared at her she knew he was holding back his scolding. She knew he was saving it for later, for when she was better.

Sasuke sat on her right his hand on hers as well and his worried expression told her everything she needed to know, he had been worried sick upon arriving.

“I’m fine.” She told them both, but neither seemed convinced, they knew her well enough. Knew that she wasn’t fine, knew that she probably just survived because of a miracle courtesy of Tsunade, and that it wouldn’t be the last time just as it wasn’t the first.

“We just arrived from our mission to find out that you had an accident on your mission, you almost died.” Kakashi told her, his stare bordering on a glare. Tsunade hadn’t told them it seemed, her heart did stop if only for a moment.

“You know we’re not letting you out of our sight.” It was a simple statement from Sasuke and she had to smile fondly at their over protectiveness.

Onyx eyes softened and her smile only grew. Sasuke gripped her right hand tightly and reassuringly while Kakashi drew circles on her left hand with his fingers.

“I promise I’ll be more careful next time.” She told them, an empty promise and they knew it. Sasuke scoffed at her words while Kakashi just rolled his eyes, but they didn’t press the matter further and between them settled a comfortable silence.

They didn’t need to say anything for her to know they were worried, for her to know that the worst had popped into their heads when they heard of her being admitted in the hospital, for her to know that they were both so utterly terrified of losing yet another loved one.

“Getting rid of me won’t be that easy.” She joked and she would have laughed at their expressions if her sides didn’t hurt as much as they did.

“What would we do without you?” Sasuke was surprisingly the one to speak, his words mere whispers.

“I promise you’ll never have to find out.” And they both smiled, the sight made her heart leap. That’s the one promise they can both count on her keeping because nothing could keep her away from them, not when she loved them as she did.

a/n: A little KakaSakuSasu fluff, the three of them together is everything really and there is not nearly enough of it. And by that I mean there is almost nothing.
