I could totally see Hashirama sending Kakazu a little gift basket because he's admittedly a little impressed that Kakazu ACTUALLY tried to kill him (he's suffering SEVERE Madara withdrawls) with a note along the lines of 'congrats on not dying <3 here's some chocolates <3'. Kakazu obviously just….resells the basket, including the note with Hashirama's signature, for an absurd price. And of course Zetsu buys the basket for Madara's birthday. this backfires and just makes Madara the angriest he's been since Hashirama 'killed' him.
