Hello Friends... #kanchendzonga Third Highest peak in the world also spelled as Kanchenjunga elevation of 8586mts 28169ft high kissing the sky. Very dramatic trekking throughout from the village Yuksum. Beautiful small village with pleasant and joyful sight of one of the hottest chilie farming and wooden houses and friendly locals except few commercialised locals. Said so because when I reached I had to suffer little problem with specific guide, who was making arrangements, which I had to change at the end moment. So kindly incase you happen to visit be sure you are smart enough before leaving for trek. Although when this trek started we were not prepared at all due to all disturbance and we moved in odd hours for trek at 11am and messed up for the first day reaching at the spot again unprepared at 9in the night, inspite of dangerous trekking and wrong spot to end up on the first day, trek was quite adventurous as well experience I would never forget ever, being my first trek to such huge mountain I was totally excited and still quite exhausted because somewhere few of them got lost. Night was celebration at Bakim with@Divyabh’s birthday oct 10th I still remember how amazing it was with khichdi cake which I made with two young kids there and Chang the local beer with wooden vessel with wooden straw to sip in. And morning was non the less surprise for us with magnificent view I still have it stocked and fixed in my memories. Inspite all got drained the previous night we all were rejuvenated the very next morning. With rice, fresh plucked cauliflower Sabji and I guess even some eggs prepared for non vegetarians. Luckily the hut has small farm which was not visible in the night. That muddy jumps we took to reach the hut truly surprised us taking a breath of sigh that it was worth the decision to climb...come what May. After effects...mood Swings! Climbing for the positive Reason...series #kanchendzonga Summit was achieved at Goechala Base camp, you must have seen my last post, moment was worth freezing. Inspite of all excitement, I was angry while on return journey, for may be 20minutes because with me it doesn’t last for long. I was going bit wild in that cold doing crazy things and at base camp I wished to remove all my warm clothes and take deep breathe and selfies as many as possible for life time memory, but out of care my team mate Divyabh said no for such craziness and we in the team always listen to him whether we want or not😂. So when you slide the first image, you will see my angry face while on back journey. Later when we started climbing down I was all good but was very angry on Divyabh for not allowing me to do so. Yes you become kid when you achieve something you were longing for , and that moment is just like an invention of your hard work, which makes it more wanting you do it with full of compassion. When I peeped out of my tent... Climbing for a positive Reason...series#kanchedzonga Early morning around 12:30am moved out of the tent at lamuney point, and sight was worth a pleasant surprise, sky was clear and stars were twinkling alarm to move on for Goechala Trek. Normally it takes around 3hrs to reach Goechala from lamuney, to few it may take more or even less. Now this trek is quite steep and here you will certainly face the high altitude sickness if you are not use to it. But now it is time to regain your energy by keeping calm, being positive, breathing slowly, walking not too fast, without resting have to be consistent. Divyabh also felt bit restless over here and was losing patience because time was passing and yet long way to achieve first sun rays, on the other hand Aditi Nandan was comparatively ohk but still was not quite comfortable. Somehow I was in same speed. I had one thing in mind, I have to reach by 5:00am any how, because first sun rays was important otherwise all effort would go waste. Somehow gathered strength to bring more courage and energy and enthusiasm by singing songs, "Kadam Kadam Badhaye ja" "Chal chala chal fakira chal chala chal" and so on and again Divyabh, Guide was first to reach , me and Aditi Second. Now everything turned upside down for me…There was still time for sunrise but my first view towards Kanchedzonga Peak was scary more than surprise, really…I could see black rocks and small tunnel opening on the opposite side of Base camp. At first glance I thought what is all this, I came to see this all the way from past so many days. And kept walking towards the view point walking on those big black rocks. But within 5minutes everything changed first sun rays and Kanchendzonga was glooming Gold at it's tip and kept glooming for next half an hr. Oh god those selfies, those snap shots. All the climbers got so excited and positive vibes started rolling all over in the freezing air. What is heaven? A fairy tale, ... of in real? Climbing for positive Reason...series #kanchendzonga Reached Thansing by 2pm and to our shocking surprise weather was really playful. Completely foggy, it rained, and no sign of improvement. Tents were settled but beddings were not sufficient for rain water drenching on ground. Somehow night went shivering under the anticipation of sunny morning. Still unquestionable, we had great morning with pleasant climate though not favourable for Base Camp trek, many tourists were waiting from past three days for clear sky. No sign of hope to move any further. Still we took chance and moved the very same day for next point, ‘laminators ’, as it may save our 2hrs, if we were to trek ahead. So walk began with blurr path, rocks on and off, on the way this beautiful horse was standing alone in the middle of bushes like a fairy tale, as if was waiting for princess to arrive and here I was. Looking at this image you cannot deny his willingness and gesture was equal to mine while hugging. Never forget one thing it is not only your goal but also the path which makes you blissful. I enjoyed that flower bed in greens 🥬 and gosh! Keep moving... Climbing for positive Reason...Series Now it was time for Juggad, for which I am famous among friends, somehow I managed a yak at Dzongri, which was luckily empty handed and helped me carry my luggage till Thansing , so arrangements were done and time to leave with Maggie in breakfast and tea with butter bread of course. And from foggy morning all of a sudden it turned Sunny ☀️, everyone was super excited and I did little more adventure having hair bath with that fresh floating river water. Oh my god! felt so so so enthusiastic that my steps were moving with extra batteries. All our mobile, laptop everything lost it’s charge. But fortunately we had survived our camera batteries due to solar chargers that we were carrying along. Now we were going for almost 6hrs trek from Dzongri-Kockchurang -Thansing. Journey from Dzongri to Kockchurang was like stepping from mountains to river bed. We had real good time dancing and singing, few mysterious stories of treks, and also that haunted story of Mokokchung rest house. one of our potter poured more energy during trek. And journey kept moving with snacks and water. Further to this, path will turn totally dramatic and you wonder how movies like Harry Potters, fairy tales are designed.
