Back to the main Halloween series with 2018's Halloween, which I adore. We get a sweater vest on the true crime podcaster and I'm breaking my own rules to include Karen's Christmas sweater, which is a hilarious bit of storytelling.

okay but I don’t get why the Halloween (2018) novelisation changes some stuff would anyone like to tell me

i love love love it and it was super good, loved the perspective of The Shape and everything it was brilliant to see peoples insights in my favourite scenes etc. but. Why at the end does Laurie get knocked out, then wake up and throw a tv/monitor at Michaels head instead of Allyson using the knife to cut his wrist when he’s dragging Karen back into the bunker? Like it doesn’t add anything? Actually I think it explained less because it was better in the movie when Allyson had a reason to be holding that knife rather than in this when it was just Laurie had handed it to her??

anyhoo it was very good I like it and will be reading the next couple!
