When we thought we were having the hottest day it got even warmer. Helicopter flying chilled, we caught this CH47 Chinook on GLV5 where the sand burned on our shoes
For us the reason to go to the Luchtmachtdagen at the Volkel airbase. The Phabulous Greek Air Force F-4 Phantom. The beauty is still flying at the 338 squadron.

At RAF Fairford there's a contingent of B-52s deployed to the UK as part of a Bomber Task Force rotation in Europe of the 2nd Bomb Wing. For us a big reason to take the train back to the UK. And what a enormous take-offs! Very impressive.
Today we had a feeling to be at the right place at the right time. A sunny day, great aircraft and good company is the combination allways will last!
