          while she’s not totally comfortable about losing  her  former  roommates,  seeing  that  she’d  share  a  dorm  this  year  with  one  kassandra  sutton  had  lifted  a  good  chunk  of  her  worries.  ❛  k a s s  !!  ❜  yeah,  a  LOT  of  worries.  it  makes  this  year  start  on  a  good  note.  ❛  are  you  all  set  up,  do  you  need  help  with  anything,  are  you  bringing  siri  with  you ?  ❜      /     @kassamigos​

          ❛   okay    so    i    did    some    research    and   apparently   there’s   a   pub   that   run   quiz   nights   that’s   literally   ten   minutes   away   from   the   hotel  .   ❜   a   girl   does   her   homework  .  she’d   been   looking   up   places   to   hang   out   during   the   nights   and   weekends   since   she   dropped   her   bags   in   her   room  .  she   all   but   rushed   to   see   kass   the   second   she   found   this  .   ❛   also  !   ❜   finally   moves   eyes   from   screen  ,  flash   the   oldest   sutton   a   bright   smile  .    ❛   i   missed   you  !  how   was   your   break  ?!   ❜          /          @kassamigos​

          ❛  first of all, i still can’t get over how amazing  you  look.  ❜  a  compliment  before  a  favor,  could  almost  be  seen  as  too  much  of  an  amateur  move,  but  she  means  it,  kass  looks  wonderful.   ❛  think  i  could  steal  you  for  a  second  to  ask  you  something ?  ❜  is  it  against  the  rule,  teaming  up  to  resolve  that  mission ?  then  again,  there  were  no  real  rules  attached,  only  to  retrieve  the  identity  of  whoever  is  linked  to  the  criteria.  all  ways  are  fair  in  that  game.     /     @kassamigos​

         there’s   comfort   under   the   weight   of   valeria’s   arms   and   purrs   of   black   kitten   against   her   chest  .  but   a   british   boy  ,  as   much   as   she   likes   him  ,  makes   her   feel   like   an   intruder   in   her   own   dorm   .  it’s   okay  ,  REALLY  .  she   did   crash   their   moment   when   she’s   been   asked   to   stay   clear   of   the   room  .  she’ll   leave   for   a   while  ,  let   them   be  .  where   to   go  ,  now   she’s   not   sure  .  with   the   floor   on   lockdown  ,  the   common   room   seems   like   the   only   choice  .  

         but   she   doesn’t   feel   social  .  a   first  ,  shocking  to   even   her  .  so   that   leaves   the   hallway  .  empty   when   she   closes   her   dorm’s   door  ,  not   many   people   want   to   wander   around  ,  she   can’t   blame   them  .  she   walks   the   length   of   it  ,  two   times  ,  three   times  .  gets   her   legs   a   much   needed   stretch  .  until   it   hits   her  ,  how   tired   she   is  .  yet   to   get   a   true   deep   rest  ——  long   night   answering   questions   and   disbelief   thoughts   too   loud   in   her   head   to   let   her   fall   asleep  .  

         back   against   a   wall  ,  she   lets   herself   slide   down  ,  legs   stretching   out  ,  she   takes   half   the   space  .  eyes   flutter   close  ,  all   she   sees   is   the   same   as   the   last   few   hours  :  barely   lit   room  ,  the   red   floor   of   the   old   mill  and   two  ——— noise   forces   brown   eyes   open   once   again  ,  now   starring   at   a   plain   gallagher   wall  .     ❛   can   you   turn   around  .  or   just  .  .  step   over  me  ,  i   don’t   care  .   ❜     her   words   feel   coarse  ,  cold  ,  breathless  .  what   a   sight   she   must   be  ,  unkept   hair  ,  glasses   falling   on   her   nose   and   oversize   sweatshirt   making   her   look   smaller   than   she   already   is  .      ❛   oh  .  .  .  hey   kass  .  i’m   sorry  ,  let   me   move  . ❜     great  ,  now   she   feels   like   an   ass   when   she   realizes   who   it   is  ,  dragging   knees   back   to   her   chest  ,  clearing   the   hall  .          /     @kassamigos​

            ❛   sorry   i   —   i   started   without   you  .   ❜     labored   breathing  ,  knuckles   deep   red   from   hits   and   trail   of   sweat   down   her   neck   a   testimony   of   that   statement  .  in   the   midst   of   everything  ,  it   slips   her   mind   that   she’s   made   an   agreement   with   the   older   sutton   about   keeping   themselves   in   shape  .  you   can’t   say   it’s   a   proper   workout   session  ,  not   when   all   she’s   been   doing   is   punch   a   sandbag   over   and   over   to   let   steam   out  .  but   hey  ,  she’s   in   the   gym   and   she’s   feeling   it   in   her   arms,   that   counts   in   her   eyes  .  halfway   through   whatever  .  .  .   emotional   release   technique   this   is  ,  mary   texted   kass   to   join   her  .     ❛   we   can   take   it   outside  ,  run   the   grounds  ?  or   walk  .  i   could   vouch   for   a   walk  .   ❜     it’s   the   first   time   she   talks   to   her   in   over   a   week  ,  mary’s   trying   to   act   somewhat   normal  .  she   keeps   saying   she’s   okay  ,  she   just   has   to   fake   it   perfectly   now  .          /     @kassamigos​
