laika
Kubo and the no eyes
All Official LAIKA animatics, and then some.
It has come to our attention that LAIKA has removed the "Animatics" section from their website. Fear not, if you don't have the versions of the DVDs with the animatics included I have taken it upon myself to do a little bit of internet sleuthing, and nab them from an archived version of the website! [Please be aware that some of these animatic videos are sourced from individual artist's portfolios, and not the LAIKA website. Sources will be given upon request.]
Coraline
ParaNorman
Boxtrolls
Kubo
Missing Link
Additional notes: Most of the Kubo animatics were originally storyboards that I put together as MP4 files myself. You can find the originals here.
For the feature-length storyboards of every film, click here!
For auxiliary storyboards from an early draft of Boxtrolls; Click me! No, click me! You can click me, too!
I'm trying to figure out how I wanna draw them....

Regarding my last post on the situation...
Alright, I've had some editing practice. Honestly I might just make a brand new Fandom Wiki as my vision is very expensive. I don't just want to create a Wiki on Fandom.com, I want to create a public information resource for everything LAIKA related. Not just the plots and characters of films, but also the production history, concept art, pioneered techniques, what the puppets were made out of, everything one could possibly want to know.
Because I, too, want to know everything I possibly can about these films. It's been four years and I've filled up THOUSANDS of Google Document pages with cited information. I can't keep this collection to myself anymore. And as I'm entering adulthood, I strive to give those around me what I never had.
I'll probably need help, but first I gotta lay out the bare bones. DM me if you're interested.
Of the released Laika movies:
Which is the best?
Coraline (2009)
Paranorman (2012)
The Boxtrolls (2014)
Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
Missing Link (2019)
some compiled Kubos for his nice expressions since not alot of pictures of his face plates
