I’d never done a Draw It In Your Style challenge before, but then I saw this challenge over on Instagram by the amazing @kate-komics and couldn’t resist. So here’s my attempt at her brilliant “Haunted Mando”.

This was so much fun to do!

@kate-komics (who’s artwork I ADORE and I am a huge fan, you need to check it out!!!) issued a “Draw it in your style” challenge over on the instagram, and Haunted!Din is my favorite trope of all time, so of course I had to have a go at it. And I know this is not my usual style. Let’s face it, my chibis are not the best for this. So instead, I used the style that I like to use at work.

I hope I made it justice!

Okay I know I started this comic a Billion years ago and not as many of you fine folks read this one, but the pages are done now and I'll be be posting the final parts over the next few weeks. The pages have actually been done for... a while.

If you'll please allow me a little rant/ give you all an explanation...

I started this comic waaaay back 2020. Some of these pages were even sketched/inked out in 2021! I was reluctant to continue sharing them because (in my eyes) they just weren't good anymore. At least in comparison to the other stuff I was doing at the time. I've grown SO much as an artist and story teller in past few years. I started this comic to help me get better and I suppose it's done that. I actually redrew the last 2 pages of this post a few days ago and like... you can SEE the difference. Anyway, enjoy seeing me find my comic voice in this fun little comic. Just a few more parts to come!
