You’re going to have to learn how to make things seem a certain way when they’re not.

“…..Ms. Fujimoto. Have you ever lied to your husband?” “Did you or did you not murder your husband Soryu Oh?”

Kaori Fujimoto’s simple NO sounds rather weak at the piercing gaze and penetrating questions from the prosecutor, is she suffering her punishment for being SOFT- hasn’t she been punished enough? And the revolting smirk on his face already screams bad news, squeezing her hands tightly on her lap as she tries to clam herself down in order to look any less guilty than whatever verdict the juries have already set for her.

Whether it is the crackling fire in his dark brown eyes or the way his jaw is set in anger, Takao chews his lips and swallows hard with his angry gaze pinning on a new piece of evident that the judge has rejected his objection and allowed to be present.

“Then could you explain to us how cheating on your husband does not count as lying to him? Mrs. Oh? I mean Ms. Fujimoto?”

With numerous of printed large photos waving in the air, Kaori, and Takao, as well as everyone else in the courtroom is stunned, surprised and mouths forming O’s of disbelief. The fact of at least over twenty people in the room are now seeing her erotic expressions in the photos, obviously a huge contrast to her current guilty and shameful look. She’s speechless and not that the prosecutor is expecting her to answer him anyway, the man with the upper hand presses on.

“Isn’t it true that you and Mr. Soryu Oh have signed a prenup and if you cheat, you will not receive anything but also have to pay him $1 million for every year that you two are married?”

Has the man taken a step too far, maybe, maybe not but Kaori sure is in living hell because no one would care about why or how it happened, whether people make mistakes or not, the fact is none of them will believe another word she says and her fate is already written. The first person she turns to is Takao, apologetic and remorseful for withholding an shameful yet important mistake.

It WAS a mistake, was it not?

The question repeats in her head while her eyes search for the other person in the photos with her but Samejima Koichi is nowhere to be seen, her worried gazes dance around and meet with Eisuke- neither a hint of surprise nor bewilderment in his expression but then Eisuke Ichinomiya has always been an exceptional poker player. He watches her, waiting for her response like the rest whilst her mind has drifted off back to the very night.

Kaori Fujimoto‘s POV (OC) The persisting knocking and banging on my door finally forced me to open in order to avoid any further unwanted drama for my neighbor. Samejima stood in front of me, sweating and backed me to the wall behind me without delay. His burning eyes sent shiver down my spine no matter how much time I had spent as a mobster’s wife- there’re some things you just couldn’t get use to.

“WHY!!” The usually quiet subordinate of Soryu Oh nearly barked, “He has done so much for you! IT WASN’T HIS FAULT! You know that! Why are you punishing him?”

I wanted to laugh, I shouldn’t but that was how I feel- why was he in my tiny flat yelling at me over my breakup with his boss? Why was he more offend than Soryu Oh himself? Or did he now send his boy to do his work, too busy with meetings or he simply didn’t care anymore- regardless, it didn’t matter.

“Soryu and I are over.” I wish the five little words would be easier for the loyal young fellow to comprehend because next he went on and on how miserable Soryu had been and listing the things that he’d sacrificed for me. “ENOUGH!” I cut in, irritated at his endless reasoning and excuses on behalf of someone I was determined to get over.

“What about me? I could easily give you a list too! You honestly think I’d just FORGIVE him and pretend it never happened? It’s one thing to live with my consequences when I chose to marry a mobster but another when my families were the ones end up paying for it!”

Tears began to sting my eyes and I hated it, hated how weak and vulnerable I was. “My parents ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF HIM, because I am the wife of Soryu Oh! It doesn’t matter how bad he feels or how much pain he is in because it is beyond anyone’s power to undo the past!” I screamed as more tears started streaming down my cheeks, lashing my anger and despair at an innocent young man.

I suddenly felt his hands around me, head being pulled in then a soft set of lips pressing against mine. “Hmmm!! Sammmm!” My muffled voice of protest soon lost to the heated and deepen kiss. Our lips were in perfect sync, matching rhythm and intensity. He brushed his tongue against my bottom lip and I couldn’t hold back a moan that escaped my throat. In one swift motion, Samejima lifted me up as I locked my legs on his waist. Heat was building at my core and I automatically grind myself onto his inner thighs for more friction while Samejima stumbled his way to my bedroom without breaking from my lips.

We removed our tops hungrily, he pulled me back into him roughly before nibbling my neck and collar bone then back to my lips. Every spot his lips touched my skin set me on fire, my insides were screaming in nervousness, desire, rage, pain and guilt. Thoughts were soon took over by the burning need, his hands were wandering my back and breasts while mine unbuckled his belt and pulled down his unnecessary garments.

Everything else were hasty for a while, I could barely focus with his lips on my neck here then his tongue swirling on the nipple there, earning moan after moan from me until he entered me, then withdrawing almost all the way out before slamming deep inside me.
