Poor Samwise gambled away loans from his father and brothers for years, until eventually he found himself several thousand gold in debt with no more lifelines.
Now he’s been kicked out of his cushy lifestyle and out into the real world, and told never to come back home until he can pay back every last coin he owes.
Adventuring, one hears, can get you some serious payout... if you can manage to forego feather beds and silver platters for blood and guts and gore.
