Ok but darkpilot where Ben is trans and POE is the first person he tells and Poe convinces him to tell his mom and holds his hand the whole time and Han is v judgy and doesn't wanna accept his lil girl is a boy and that makes it TWICE AS HEARTBREAKING in that scene we don't talk about where Han tells him to take the helmet off and he asks what Han thinks he'll see, and Han finally says "the face of my SON" help I'm in hell

There are three rounds of chopped: appetizer, entree, dessert. They give you a basket of weird ingredients that you would never think go together and you have to use them all in your dish.

Okay but jedistormpilot in a high school AU?

Between Poe’s scuffed up leather jacket, Finn’s hoodies, and Rey’s letterman jacket, the three of them were never cold.  Rey liked the hoodies best, where she could hide underneath the hood and tuck her long skinny legs inside when she crouched on the front porch of the school, waiting for her dad to pick her up. Finn liked Poe’s jacket the best, and he wore it on the days when he needed confidence and punk attitude the most.  That left Poe with Rey’s varsity jacket slung around his shoulders, his disarming grin and multiple piercings at odds with the bright school colors.

All three of them answered to a call of “Dameron!”

Mister Sam Badge! I finally had my baby (by C Section) and while I know it's not Hydrocodone or Midnight, I'm on Percocet at 0900 and think everything is hilarious. So can we hear about a time when Izzy puked on Clint maybe?

Congratulations on your new baby! You know, Sam is a delightful name for any gender. I’m just saying. 

Oh, man, I mean, Izzy was just an infant when Clint got custody, so she has thrown up on him A LOT, like that first year was basically just bodily fluids everywhere. Clint doesn’t like to remember it. None of his clothing is more than six years old because eventually everything from that year had to be straight-up thrown out and probably should have been burned as a biohazard. 

But you know, that’s kids, once she got her digestion under control and started walking and having a personality she wasn’t super pukey. She has the unfortunate Barton nose but also the sturdy Barton constitution and that’s probably for the best because Clint had never had to feed another human being, and let’s be real, half the time Coulson was the one making sure Clint himself didn’t develop scurvy. So Izzy ate a lot of good solid midwestern Coulson Family Fare, casseroles and things with creamed corn in them and Vienna Beef meat stuffs and jello-based desserts. And also an unusual amount of Russian food because Natasha wasn’t going to go near the larval Barton until she could talk, but she would deign to provide stuff like borscht and pierogies. Also pureed beef heart. It’s good for you. 

(True story, my mum cooked all the baby food I ate, and apparently I had a phase where I would eat nothing but beef heart, pressure cooked and pureed. She trotted out this story when I got my pressure cooker.) 

So Izzy doesn’t get sick often, but just after Phil came back from the dead she developed THE TERRIBLE COLD.

It was very traumatic for everyone, and Steve in particular freaked the fuck out because you know, in the 1930s when you get a cold and are a tiny child YOU WILL PROBABLY DIE. Clint and Coulson and Natasha have done the Izzy Has A Cold dance before so they’re fine, whatever, they just bundle her in blankets and set her down to watch movies with a sippy cup of lukewarm chicken broth and take shifts looking after her. 

BUT THEN

JUST WHEN IT SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS GETTING BETTER

Steve came up to visit, bringing a jar of mustard poultice and a flannel just in case, and he came in right as Clint was carrying Izzy to the kitchen because she wanted to pick out HER OWN SNACK, POPPA, but apparently carrying was a bad idea because Clint turned to wave at Steve and Izzy turned very green and blaaaaargh….

And Clint tried to hand her to Steve so he could take his puke-covered shirt off, and Izzy started to cry, and then Steve really freaked the hell out because he found something on the back of her neck and CLINT, I THINK SHE HAS SMALLPOX. 

It was, in fact, chicken pox, which while serious is not Steve Rogers Freakout level serious, but Steve refused to be separated from Izzy by more than a few feet, and then Tony came up looking for Steve, and both of them called Bruce, and long story short by the time Clint got back from washing puke out of his ear, the entire Avengers team was sitting in his living room fussing over Izzy, who had fallen asleep on Coulson’s shoulder. 

The following day they discovered that Tony Stark had never had the chicken pox when he started coughing and itching all over. 

Which is how the story began with Izzy Barton throwing up and ended with the stock market temporarily destabilizing because the chair of the board of Stark Industries was laid up with chicken pox. 

Izzy was just happy ‘cause she and Tony matched. Steve didn’t stop freaking out for like a week solid. 

(There is actually an Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Avengers comic where Tony comes down with the chicken pox as an adult. It’s really adorable.)
