My all-time favourite character:

Gokudera Hayato - so like, basically everyone and their mother knows about my undying love for this explody boy. He deserves all the love in the world. One time I saw a picture of him unexpectedly after not having thought of khr for a long time and I genuinely cried a little???

A character I didn’t used to like butnow do:

Lambo - now, I never really disliked him, but I first read this back in around the end of 2010 I think? And I was still super young then and thought he was really annoying, but the more I’ve grown the more I’ve come to adore him. Yeah he’s obnoxious as shit, but he’s five. He’s the cutest little guy ever and I love him with all my heart. And also what the Bovino family did by sending him on a suicide mission was super fucking messed up.

A character I used to like but nowdon’t:

Sawada Iemitsu - Now listen here. Just like everyone knows that Gokudera is my one true love knows that I despise Iemitsu with every fibre of my being. He’s a horribly abusive father and a horrible boss and he ruined not only Tsuna’s childhood, but Basil’s too. That being said, when he was first introduced, I didn’t think that badly about him. I never liked him, but I didn’t immediately hate him either. It’s just this thing that grew within me over time as I came to see just how horrible a person he really was.

A character I’m indifferent about:

Byakuran - he became something of a fan favourite after the future arc wrapped up. I don’t particularly care much for him. Though I will admit that he is genuinely one of the most beautiful anime characters I have ever seen (though not quite as beautiful as Kikyo. Dear god that man is just...illegally beautiful)

A character who deserved better:

Elena - She never did anything wrong, in her life, and she did not deserve to die the way she did!!!

A ship I’ve never been able to getinto:

8059 - Maybe that’s a bit of an understatement. This is, like, my notp to end all notps. I hate it with a burning passion oh my god.

A ship I’ve never been able to getover:

6996 - This is one of those ships that I don’t care if it’s romantic or platonic or whatever, I just need them to be together. They complete each other. And I love it so much????

A cute, low-key ship:

Ryohei/Hana - I forgot their numbers don’t @ me. These two are so different in their personalities, but I really think they’re cute together. I wish we’d gotten to see more of them in the future arc.

An unpopular ship but I still enjoyedit:

2759 - I’m honestly surprised this wasn’t more popular than it was? I really think these two are cute together. I don’t have many hardcore ships in this fandom, but this is totally my otp.

A ship that was totally wrong andnever should have happened:

Bianchi x Reborn. Guys seriously though, Bianchi is so. Fucking. Young. And Reborn has to be around Timoteo’s age. This ship is so nasty, it should never have happened.

A storyline that never should havebeen written:

Just...straight-up, everything after the Shimon arc. I didn’t like the ending of the series at all. Though if I had to choose something more specific, I’d say the very last chapter of the series. I’m still so salty over it. Amano completely undid all the character development Tsuna went through throughout the series and I will never get over it.

My first thoughts on the show:

Fun plot, fucking gorgeous art (at least a few hundred chapters into the series - it wasn’t all that good at the beginning tbh), lovable characters, enjoyed it a great deal.

My thoughts now:

This is still one of my favourite series of all time but Imma be real with you all, it was a complete shitshow. Amano was horrible at juggling her cast, often forgetting about characters for long stretches of time, her characterization was inconsistent, and her plots were messy. But also @shizukateal brought this theory to my attention: what if Viren switched the king’s soul to his bird, Pip, before he died. It would explain why he was talking to Pip in that one scene, and why he had him locked up in a cage. Only question now is why he doesn’t just kill him.

Also yessss, Amaya and Gren are amazing and I love them so much tbh??? I already knew going into this that Amaya was deaf/uses ASL, but I still screamed when she showed up because I was so inordinately happy tbh.

Though at the end of the day, Ezran is still my fav. He’s so freaking precious???

I’ve seen the theory around before, and at first I didn’t like it much, but I’ve been warming up to it.

It would be a really nice parallel to Shigaraki, I think! From the beginning, they’ve been set up to be foils of each other.

Shigaraki, the successor of AfO, was borne by an OfA holder.

It would be so neat if Izuku, the successor of OfA, was borne by the holder of AfO.

We’re just so used to our kids interacting with all these famous heroes, that I think we sometimes forget that they’re the outliers.

Present Mic may be their weird, overenthusiastic cool uncle, but to the rest of Japan he’s a radio personality.

All Might may be their awkward dad who barely knows what he’s doing, but to the rest of the world he’s basically a god.

As for Tiger, he’s a trans man who uses he/him pronouns. Since he can easily pass as male, there are a lot of people who don’t even know he’s trans so they use the right pronoun, but there’s one guy who deadass called him a “he-she” and then proceeded to use she/her pronouns for him :/

I said he had to be 19 at the very least (given that he was already a graduate of Morinomiya when Ryuu was in his third year of junior high). I said in the last answer that he was actually more likely in his early twenties.

I hadn’t read the manga in a long time when I answered your last ask so I couldn’t remember his exact age, and it’s not listed in the wiki.
