Hii, first of all, I have read that damn chapter idk how many times now and every time it breaks my heart all over again 🥲
In my opinion Touya was forgiving, but not anymore obviously. In some other chapters we could all see that he was caring, but people decided to ignore that..
I think it would take time til he builds the relationship with you.. and with that I mean lots of time.. at first he would probably be only attracted to your looks, but once he realizes that he likes your personality he would like to spend more and more time with you, trying to act it all cool, and not show anything. Acting like, well, how Dabi would act. Few sarcastic comments here and there, calling you annoying, but nothing overly mean.
He has feelings, every human has feelings, but everyone deals differently with them. He would try to convince himself that what he’s feeling for you is only temporary. The thought of you leaving him and replacing him for someone else would always be there in his mind, and you’ll have to be ready to repeat yourself a thousand times a day that you ain’t going anywhere and that nothing and no one on this world can replace him.
Slowly, he would start showing you affection. In small ways, he would start to get a little bit comfortable around you. It would be something like placing his hand on your lower back as he leads the way, he would pay more attention to you and what you’re saying, memorizing your words and what you like and what you don’t like. He would start to get jealous if you talk with other guys. And it won’t be just a bit, he would really be a jealous type of a guy even tho if you ain’t anything official yet.
The moment the two of you would start dating, no words will be spoken. He wouldn’t ask you to be his girlfriend, not because the times are like that today, it because he can’t speak that out, scared that you’ll actually refuse him, even tho you gave him million signs that you’re crazy for him.
The first kiss would either way happen if he is under influence of alcohol, OR if the two of you are somewhere at some dark place, so in case you turn your head away, he wouldn’t have to face you fully.
In other words, he is insecure.
That first kiss is a start of a relationship for him. Once you place your hands on his face and kiss him back, once he is 100% sure that you want it as much as he does, there’s no going back. You’re his and no one else’s.
Not like you would mind that. You want only him after all. He is more than enough for you.
There are people he doesn’t know, those people are nothing to him. He doesn’t treat them with any kindness. He doesn’t act around and sell some fake shit.
There are people he knows, people he has to spend time with. He cares for them and treats them like he treated you at the beginning. But there will always be that distance, like a shield for him.
And there is you. For you he would burn them all down if it’s needed. From you he got that affection he was always starving for, and no one can take that away from him. He would try to give you everything in return. He would be there for you, he would give you as much as he can. If he has only one cigarette left in his pocket, he would share it with you.
If you like long walks at night, yet you’re scared to go out alone, he would go with you, even tho he doesn’t like it himself.
He would put your wishes before his own.
But if you betray him, cheat on him or anything like that. He would NOT be forgiving.
His love, it will turn into obsession at some point.
That obsession wouldn’t be something you would worry about. It wouldn’t go in a way where he wants to hurt you.
There would be limits you won’t cross anyway. If you know that he is jealous, you simply wont do anything to make him jealous. You wouldn’t give him a reason to worry, or to do anything stupid.
The two of you would have to be on the same line. If you liking other guys Instagram photos would upset him, you simply wouldn’t do it, if he notices that one of your friends wants more than friendship from you, you would drop that friend for him.
Because Touya comes FIRST.
Same goes other way round. For him, it’s only you and no one else. So you wouldn’t have to worry if he is in other girl’s DM’s, or if he’ll flirt back in some bar.
Once the trust is fully there, it’s just you and him against everyone else.
