Jokes about possible future Thunder-only KH4 Vader boss runs aside, I think that confrontation in Return of the Jedi would be good place to unpack Rage form story and theme-wise.
Doesn't have to be a one-on-one but it would be a nice parallel to draw between Luke choosing the light despite dipping into the dark to beat Vader.
Some KH fans lured themselves into a false sense of safety, I pray KHML and KH4 match the level of sillies of Maleficent trying to turn Santa into a heartless.
And also Belle elbowing her way out of a hostage situation against a member of organization XIII.
KH4 Theory Ideas Made Real
Hmmm it would so wonderful if the lost masters saga was about rumors/ideas gaining sentience and bodies after the xehanort saga with the empty bodies/data growing sentient.
Like if enough dudes believe in sth it shows up in Quadratum at least,
like Sora and many keyblade bearers convinced that darkness will follow wherever they go and so the darkside lookalike pops up.
The same way Lauriam and Elrena believing strongly that Strelitzia still exists out there and so she can be found in Quadratum.
And finally if I had a munny for every culture that had a founding figure myth which included the guy returning from death or having vanished to another realm but would return in the world's direst hour, I would be freaking rich. AND boy doesn't that sound like the foretellers popping up in KH3's secret ending and MoM in Quadratum.

KH4 When the Meow Wow Cry
You. Yes, you. Did you know that the When they Cry series manga adaptations were published by Square Enix?
Did you know that this series has a concept of Meta World running in parallel to the general narrative and plays with the idea of fiction versus reality? Multiple gameboards/stories floating in a sea of fragments similar to how KH worlds exist in the Ocean between.
