Dating The Cars <3 (🎄Christmas Special Edition🎄)
Thought I'd write some short holiday themed x Reader headcanons about our favourite cars! Because why not?
Christine
•Christine has seen many a Christmas in her time, and she knows what it's all about thanks to her knowledge of the season gained from what she's heard over her radio and from brief mentions of it from her previous lovers, who spoke of it as just an interference their families held to keep them from her.
You are the first to actually want to celebrate one with Christine, and she's interested. A season of the celebration of love doesn't sound bad at all. She can get with the idea of celebrating love. The love you both have.
•As soon as Dec 1st rolls in, you can bet she's got her 50s mixtape of Christmas oldies like Brenda Lee and Frank Sinatra on. If you don't feel like listening to any, ask and she'll stop.
•You've hung some mistletoe up on the entrance to the garage in which she stays. Christine will not leave the garage unless you've given her a kiss under it. Nor will she go back in the garage again unless you've kissed her under the mistletoe.
You don't mind her being like this and find it funny that Christine is using Christmas as an excuse to give you more love and be loved more in return.
•You've put a small tree decoration on her dash. The tree is nothing remarkable, but Christine adores it! It's grander than any decorated tree out there! That's her little tree, hers; you got it only for Christine and nobody else. She takes pride in that.
•Christine keeps her cabin heated at all times and gets agitated if you're not wrapped up warmly because she doesn't want her love catching a cold or flu. So, if she sees you not wearing enough layers, she'll not start no matter how many coaxing kisses and touches you give her.
•Christine will take you for leisurely drives down decorated avenues because she likes how you look in the glow of the lights.
•If anyone throws a snowball at you or her, Christine will see red. In general, she's not a fan of the snow; it's awful mushy stuff that gets everywhere. But she does like watching it fall through the garage windows with you; it sets a romantic atmosphere that the Christmas songs tell of.
Herbie
•This guy LOVES Christmas. It's his favorite tradition of all time. Nobody is a bigger fan of it than he. Herbie has spent Christmases past with his friends, and he can't wait to spend one with you, the love of his life!
•Herbie has a whole list of things he wants to do with you; the first thing on his list is to go dashing through the snow with you. Who needs a one-horse open sleigh when you have your adorable love bug?
•This goofy guy WILL insist on dressing himself up with some sort of festive ornament. Or maybe an entire Christmas paint job. Herbie wants your help to become a living driving ornament and be the most festive automobile on the road.
•Don't ask how, but Herbie will know EXACTLY what you want for Christmas, and if he can, he will find a way to have it delivered to you, all nicely wrapped and topped with a bow.
•Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean there won't be racing! Herbie will be taking you to all the races, whistling along to his favorite Christmas tunes as he goes along the track with you. Herbie will be winning you massive Christmas hampers one after the other, you'd think Christmas came early!
•When the big day comes, Herbie wants to join in as much as possible. The opening of the presents, Christmas dinner, and the parties- Herbie wants to be there and experience it all with you. Because above it all, your smiling face is what he wants to see the most; it's brighter to him than any Christmas star.
Daisy Duke
•Christmas might be a time of joy for many; for Daisy, it's a time of misery. She hates when Christmas comes around because Daisy knows that's when the cold, never-ending traffic jams and icy roads come out.
Daisy doesn't have time for any of it.
She doesn't like being cold, as it doesn't do her great rusted body any favors, and being held up in traffic jams just irritates her, especially when the vehicles around her are playing Christmas songs Daisy has heard a million times and is, quite frankly, very tired of hearing.
•You de-ice Daisy every morning and start her engine to warm her up. She appreciates your help, truly. You keep a close eye on Daisy and watch for signs of the cold causing complications on her old body.
•If you insist on decorating her, Daisy will allow only one small wreath to be hung up inside her cabin, but that's all she'll allow. Put anything else up in or on her, and Daisy is not driving you anywhere until the offending items are removed.
•Daisy honestly can't wait for the whole thing to be over. She wants the warmth back, and for the roads to not be so busy or slippery again, and for people to stop playing those blasted jolly songs! Daisy won't let that on to you, however; if you're happy, she's not going to ruin that.
KI3T
•Christmas is something new to the Knight Industries Three Thousand. He's experienced a birthday, and a Halloween, but not Christmas. Mike and Sarah decided to let you, KITT's lover, tell him about it.
•You'll be spending long, cozy nights all tucked up with a blanket and a hot drink inside KITT, marathoning Christmas movies both new and old with him.
Of course, you and KITT will be talking all the way through the movies, KITT asking you questions about the holidays and you answering them. If you're not talking about the holidays, you're both either critiquing the acting or story writing of the movies you watch.
•Snow, you show KITT all you can do with it. Building snowmen, snowball fights, snow angels, and sledding. Of all these activities, KITT enjoys watching snowmen be built most of all because he's amazed at what can be made from mere snow. He especially loves your attempt of making a 'snow KITT.'
• KITT 3D prints you a gift. It's a locket (or bracelet, if you prefer them to necklaces) with the first letter of your name + a K underneath. The initials are surrounded by a heart. KITT got the idea from one of the Christmas movies you watched together, as the idea is most romantic to him.
•KITT transforms into a nice festive red for you and lets you finish off the look by decorating him with whatever Christmas decor you please (tinsel, a red Rudolph nose on his bumper, reindeer antlers on his roof, fairy lights on his dashboard, ect...)
•Christmas songs fascinate him, especially ones of love. He asks you to duet some with him only when the two of you are alone, of course. Even if you don't think you can sing, KITT doesn't care and revels in singing with you. It makes him feel human and that much closer to you.
•Have Christmas dinner with him! He can't eat, obviously, but he is interested to hear you describe the tastes and textures to him; after all, he is an AI who is still learning about the world. KITT likes hearing all you have to say about anything, so why not tell him about this too?
