I would love for David Hasselhoff and William Daniels to reprise their KR roles and do some skit for Pride Month. Something like this would play out:

The skit would start off with Michael and KITT cruising on a sunny afternoon when KITT asks Michael about the 'big colorful parade' they saw back in a town they left a few minutes ago.

Michael, with a smile, explains to KITT what a pride parade is and all about Pride Month. Then, Michael moves on to discussing many gender orientations and sexualities with him.

After his explanation, KITT asks quietly, almost shyly, "so, anyone can be anyone they want to be?... And they can love anyone, regardless of gender?"

To which Michael is all, "that's right, KITT. What you identify as and what you are attracted to, and what you're not attracted to, that's if you feel attraction at all, is entirely up to you. Just be you, KITT. You'll always be my partner, no matter what."

KITT is silent before replying softly, "thank you." And he sounds relieved.

(It's up to audience interpretation why KITT sounds relieved.)
