Do you ever wake up and you’re so excited about life that you can’t get back to sleep? I am sometimes so amazed and grateful that I am still here. Life is fucking hard. Times for me have been very tough. Waves of uncertainty about what the heck am I doing here have pummeled me in the past. Yet I’m still here. I made a life. Ain’t perfect. But somehow it’s mine. I keep stepping. To everyone out there wondering, keep putting one foot in front of the other and look up. Look around at your situation. It could always be worse. Sometimes your mind tells you that this is it and it’ll never get better. But your heart tells you to carry on. My grandfather, rest his sweet soul, told me - “Nothing goes up forever. But nothing goes down forever either.” Life is a crazy adventure for sure. If you have suffered or are suffering now, know, like the seasons, they are temporary and maybe, just maybe, it is preparing you for the miracle just a little further around the bend. I’m still on the right side of the dirt and grateful for every single life lesson that sanded down my rough edges and in a weird way, made me who I am right freaking now. I love life... as upside down as it gets, with all the pain and all the goosebump moments and everything in between. Love you reading this.
