HI, Congrats on 1000!!! Can I please request a drabble of the HC where Bruce got bullied as a child for looking feminine and Clark stands up for him even though he's smaller than the bullies. By the way, how on earth do you keep track of your HCs? There are so many.
7 Drabbles left~
You know, it’s super hard keeping track of EVERYTHING! BUT I have my trust friend, Tags and Archive. Also, sometimes I can just remember certain HCs I’ve made or responded to.
What am I doing? I can’t do this? I’m only a little kid. What can I do?
As the first blow came, Clark was already prepared. He tensed up his face as he took the punch, sending him to the ground. Then all of a sudden a sharp kick hit his spin and Clark arched backwards, grabbing the spot. As dirt was smeared all over his clothes and face, fear started engulfing his conscious. A hard hit landed on the side of his stomach with another on right on his tail.
Clark wrapped his arms around his head and curled up on himself.
After what felt like an eternity, Clark laid there taking the punches and kicks and curses.
And as quick as it came, it left, with a crying Clark on the ground with bruises spread all over his body. He slowly unwinded himself and looked up to see if the bullies where still there, waiting.
Instead, he saw who he was protecting. He saw big, blue eyes with long eye lashes. He say a beautiful round and soft face. He saw a cute rounded nose that rose up just a smidgen. His hand was held out while his other hand held Clark’s Grey Ghost book bag.
And just like that, the pain was gone, replaced with astonishment.
“Thank you,” Bruce said, pulling Clark up to his level.
Clark dusted off his hair and smirked. “It-it’s nothing. I just didn’t think they should be picking on someone for how they looked. Are you okay?” Clark asked, blushing.
Bruce smiled slightly. “I’m fine, now that you came to save me. What’s your name?”
“Clark.”
“My names Bruce. Can I walk you home as a thank you for saving me?”
Clark blushed. What would his parents say if he brought home a boy, someone in his class, that he just got a beating for? He touched the side of his arm and felt a twinge of pain. He had a lot of explaining to do when he got home.
“Ok,” Clark said shyly. Bruce smiled and handed over Clark’s book bag. Clark took it without even looking a Bruce, too ashamed to still like Grey Ghost even in the 5th grade.
“I like Grey Ghost too.”
Bruce never let go of Clark’s hand that day and still hasn’t.
