Gives excellent snuggles, especially after you’ve been intimate or just innocently making out for three hours straight. laurel’s a simple girl, really. lacy lingerie is always welcome. corsets are also a big favorite. also a big fan of seeing her lovers in shibari, even a very simple chest harness is enough to really get her attention. much like with corsets and ropes, she especially likes anything that leaves a mark after it comes off.

definitely the intimacy. sex for her is all about closeness and trust. giving control to her partner or having her partner give the control to her, making sure her partner feels good. her driving force is, at all times, to be useful and to be wanted, and sex is a perfect outlet for that as far as she’s concerned.

Y’know what, all your Arcana content lately has had me thinking about my apprentice, so I’m going to go ahead and answer these for Elicia!

🍄 What are your OCs favourite snacks? Their favourite comfort food which always cheers them up when they’re down? Favourite meal to make? Do they enjoy baking and cooking and are they any good in the kitchen? 

Well, pumpkin bread is the canonical answer, isn’t it? Aside from that... well, that is very much in the right vein, because Elicia loves sweets. When she’s out in the marketplace and has her own money on hand, her other favorite place to stop is the spun-sugar stall, where she always gets some big wispy colorful concoction to stuff in her mouth while she’s shopping. When she’s down, she tends towards pastries, and especially loves things with gooey fruit fillings. Her cooking skills aren’t good enough to make those that well, but she loves making cake, and frosting it, and eating half the frosting before it actually makes it onto the cake. >> Baking is definitely easier than cooking for her!

🍂 Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others? 

Hugs are good, as long as she knows and trusts the giver! Hugs from strangers, or strangers getting close enough to give them, kind of freaks her out, and she’s likely to back away stammering. And even with someone she knows, she likes a warning, but if a friend asks if they can hug her the answer’s always yes. Her main way of showing affection is offering to do things for people, or giving them gifts, but with her love interests and good friends she’s quick to reach out and take their hand. Which is often her needing reassurance, but she’ll do it to reassure and comfort them, too.

💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need? 

She gets a bit stressed about being unwell, simply because she wants to be up and doing things and gets flustered when others do things for her. Add in the cotton-head she usually gets when sick, and she’s kind of a mumbly protesting mess whenever someone brings her soup or whatever. But once she’s gotten past that, she’s a model patient, just because she doesn’t want to make more trouble for whoever’s caring for her by making their job difficult. For others, she’s very fussy when they’re ill, and hovers constantly, but she’s not always sure what to do for them besides provide soup, and her soup is... well, see above about baking versus cooking. If she’s ever taking care of you, ask for bread or brownies or something else it will distract her to make.

7. Interaction.  How does your character typically interact with people?

Before his death, Rory was more walled off and brusque. He was very impulsive and self serving, with rare acts of kindness or generosity. It was a mask to deflect against rejection and his own personal self esteem issues. But it didn’t make him many friends, and he knew it.

After he is brought back, he is significantly kinder, though his emotions of anger and frustration translated into anxiety. So he is a bit more neurotic and shy, though just as impulsive. He gradually gains his confidence back and is able to speak to people and make friends easily.For Riley

13. Overcompensation.  Is there something that your character just HAS to do better than anyone else?  Or are they just that dang good without trying?  If they see someone else showing off, what is their kneejerk reaction?

Riley is just incredibly strong. He is laid back enough that he really doesn’t care if someone is better than him at something. Though, if he sees someone trying to one up him...he might just have to challenge them. He’d prefer not to make anyone feel bad about their own inferiority, though. And he’d never make anyone feel bad about it, of course.

Oh, Thomas’s aunt would absolutely flip her shit if they did that. She didn’t like Asra and blamed him for Thomas’s death, and if Asra brought Thomas back around her post-resurrection she would take it as proof that Asra is fundamentally bad (she’s VERY against necromancy) and probably tell them that Asra isn’t welcome near her, and possibly turn Thomas away, too, not believing that he’s the same person as the nephew she lost.

💚- What was the home situation like?

Thomas’s aunt raised him from about the time he was 5 or 6, because his father had died in a magical accident and his mother forbid Thomas from ever using magic, going so far as to hit him when he accidentally did. His aunt witnessed that once and convinced his mother to turn custody over to her, and then they promptly left their hometown to come to Vesuvia. His aunt regarded him as the son she never had, and Thomas was taken from his mother early enough that he saw her as a mother, even though she never let him believe she was anything but his father’s sister.
