I remember really struggling to remember 산업재해보상보험 (industrial accident compensation insurance aka workers' comp.), but I immediately knew it when I saw that card just now!

Still don't remember all the historical dates, though, so I should go over those again~

hi! what textbook are you using to learn korean? :D

Hellooo! :) As of now I am using Korean Language and Korean Culture for Immigrants (이민자를 위한 한국어와 한국문화) Because this is the series of books that is used by the korean government program, Korean Immigration and Integration Culture (KIIP). It is free program offered to foreign residents in Korea, and I’ve got a hang to use it so I’ve decided to stick with one series of book than shifting to better ones. The book comes with 5 different levels. Level 0 for studying the alphabet, reading, and writing basic words. Beginner Level 1 and 2 then Intermediate Level 1 and 2. The last one is about studying korean culture.

Pros:

Lots of different activities, listening, speaking, and writing, that helps for the new information to stick with you.

Sample conversation using the introduced grammar lesson while listening to the audio.

Cons:

It’s all in korean language (even the instructions and explanation) so it might be a little tough for beginners.

2. Talk to me in Korean

This book comes with lots of english explanation on how to use korean grammar. This will be very helpful for beginners because the explanations are in english, and colors are very helpful especially when you’re just starting to learn korean language and the conjugation of verbs and adjectives. This book comes with 9 different textbooks and 9 workbooks with audio too. I heard they have youtube channels to reinforce your korean language but I haven’t tried yet. I still use this book to find the explanations for the grammar lesson that I’m trying to learn.

Pros:

The explanations are very easy to understand that is helpful for beginners.

The layout and design of the book is very easy to navigate with. Not straining the eyes.

Cons:

In my opinion, the activities are still lacking for me to stick the new information. When I used this book, I found myself going and going on but end up forgetting the previous lessons.

3. Korean Grammar In Use

I’ve heard a lot of really great and positive reviews from this book but I wasn’t able to use this because I’ve started using the KIIP books (Book#1) and I don’t want to shift to different books and end up not finishing anything. There are a lot of youtube videos on how to use this book and its divided into three levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Pros:

A lot of TOPIK passer gave high reviews of this book.

Lots of information about korean culture too.

Detailed explanation about how to use grammar.

Cons:

Can’t think of any lol, information overload? jk!

Could be expensive but I think it’s cheaper since the book only comes with 3 different levels.

Suuryritykset käyttävät paljon rahaa markkinointiin ja mainontaan, tavoitteena löytää uusia asiakkaita. Seuranta siitä, että kuinka moni loppujen lopuksi on todellisuudessa kiinnostuneita tuotteesta ja paljonko tämä heille maksaa on vaikeaa. Kanadalainen Brian Wong käy läpi Slush teknologia- ja kasvuyritystapahtumassa mielenkiintoista aihetta, mainonnan pitämistä relevanttina adblockin (mainostenesto järjestelmä) aikakautena. Brian Wong on Kiip mobiilimainontaverkoston perustaja, joka tarjoaa digitaalisten palkkioiden sijasta konkreettisia etuja.

Mainonnalla nykypäivänä viedään paljon aikaa asiakkaalta. Tyypillisesti esimerkiksi, katsotaan urheilulähetystä tv:stä ja pelikatkosten aikana esiintyy urheilutuotteisiin liittyviä mainoksia. Keep erottuu tavallisesta markkinoinnista antamalla asiakkaalle palkintoja, jonka avulla yritys voi samalla markkinoida tuotettaan. Mobiilimainokset ovat monien mielestä ärsyttäviä ja tyrkyttäviä, josta he haluavat mahdollisimman nopeasti eroon klikkaamalla mainoksen pois, Kiip pyrkii antaa paremman mahdollisuuden rakentamaan yhteyden kuluttajan kanssa, palkkion kautta. Tuotteiden ajoittaminen oikeaan aikaan on todella tärkeää, esimerkiksi mainonta urheiluharjoituksen aikana, pienet asiat ratkaisevat siinäkin esimerkiksi, milloin kuluttaja saa mainoksen ennen harjoitusta, harjoituksen aikana tai harjoituksen jälkeen. Mainonnan ajoitus on hyvin tärkeää.

Tulevaisuudessa markkinointimenetelmät tulevat kehittymään yhä hyödyllisemmiksi, nykypäivänä jo yritykset seuraavat asiakkaidenliikkeitä, sivuilla vietettyä aikaa, ostokäyttäytymistä ja kiinnostuksen kohteita. Teknologian avulla tästä tulee vielä helpompaa uusien innovointien avulla. Brian uskoo että, markkinointi muuttuu teknologian avulla myös tulevaisuudessa ja yritysten tulisi ottaa huomioon paremmin mainonnan ajoitukset asiakkaalle, eikä pelkästään keskittyä mainoksen visuaalisuuteen ja kertomukseen. Luottamus tiimijäseniin ja antaa heidän tehdä omalla tavallaan työnsä on tärkeää, jokaisella on oma visio täydellisyydestä ja tapa tuottaa se. Uudet innovaatiot johtavat tehokkaampaan markkinointiin, jonka vuoksi yritysten on tärkeä kehittää ja luoda uusia ideoita.
