Been a couple of years since I last posted anything about my Coliseum teams - back pre-Hibernal when I was having fun raising up fandragon teams, such as Striders of Rohan (Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli of course), and Team Red (Spiderman, Deadpool, and Daredevil). Post-Hibernal almost all the fun dragons went off to snooze away their days, with the lone exception of my old Dragon Age fandragons, since there was just 4 of them remaining, 3 of whom (Fenris, SebastianVael, and Isabela) were a Coliseum team. And for the last couple of years, that team were my main dragons for Coliseum, with my progens available as Mire Flyers when I was doing any exalting.
A few months back I decided it was past time to level up a new Coliseum team from among my breeding pairs, to allow the Dragon Age collection to wander off and join the other fandragons in Hibernal. Seeing as I’m in Nature these days, and have loved tree dragons since the first time I saw one, I selected three of my oldest (and favourite) tree dragons; Cypress and her mate Aspen, plus Beauty. They became the Killer Trees team, and took over main Coliseum-grinding duty.
No longer leaning against the tree waiting to fall and kill someone.
Father-in-Law to the rescue. He’s coming back tomorrow with his bigger chainsaw. He said “It didn’t look this big in the pictures “
Anyone want to count the rings? It’s just a limb, so might not be accurate. I dunno. I’m having a hard time seeing any rings in the lighter wood.
I really do need to buy a chainsaw.
Came in today to find a limb of our Black Cherry sheared off of the trunk, now balanced precariously against the tree from which it escaped.
It’s big. That limb used to be about 15’ up, it’s now leaned against the trunk at about 10’.
After today, we need a sequel, sequel.

Trailer Tuesday: The Woods (2016)
Trailer Tuesday: The Woods (2016)
Off the bat, I don’t think this movie will be super original. I’m not expecting unique corrects or a unique plot. However, The Woods looks pretty gorgeous, and the trailer they’ve released is basically perfection. And, finally, we get a correct rendition of “Every Breath You Take” that fully encapsulates how creepy the song is. You all know I’m a sucker for terrible things that happen in…

I just got killed by a tree. The environment is striking back against us.
