I LOVE Full of Metal! I’ve been slowly reading through it and it’s just so well written. Quick question tho to help me visualize! I noticed Kimblee’s traits are kinda mixed between 03 and manga/hood Kimblee. In your story, what does he look like? More like 03 or mangahood?

I sure do like to mash things up between the two. As for FoM!Kimblee... he'll look just like in manga, only the white suit is rarely worn unless he's got that ever rare downtime but otherwise is slithering around in his uniform... which is fine by him, he always feels nostalgic and thinks kf the jolly good times in Ishval.
Yet, as you've noticed, trait wise, while he can be a well spoken and cutting gent like in the manga, he had that crass/crude verbal edge more matching of 03 thuggishness, albeit not in looks.
He seems to be a bit more manga in terms of his amoral and "survival of the fittest" mentality and clearly getting manic over deliciously loud explosions and creating 'artistic explosions' (yeah buddy,🤣 blowing up people into red mush ain't that pretty, but to him all he sees is a glorious red bloom, like a flower opening for the first time, only he's the one who made it happen like the sun itself). Yet the slither of '03 being a bit too keen in taking some pleasure from death is there.
Like both, nothing is done from the goodness of his heart, everything is a benefit, even if it appears otherwise. Each moment he "saves" Ed is motivated by curiosity and entertainment, nothing more. Any fondness there is due to a tinge of respect for this mangled boy with a genius intellect and a constant need to cling to his fragile values.
E.g Westpoint: Kimblee needed Ed alive dur to the sheer potential he wants to see more of affer sering him flatten the bulk of No Man's Land and the Cretan Fort.
At the end of the day, FoM Kimblee is a mixed bag and I hope you like? Even his more vile verbal moments of goading.
While Mustang will bet on losing dogs, Kimblee will just watch that dog run with bleeding paws and a limp for morbid curiosity, his inner scientist occasionally giving a nudge to see Edward react and see if he will snap its jaws or crumple...
Take comfort for all FoM Kimblee's twisted spliced elements between 03 and Manga with crude antagonizing speech he certainly is NOT the worst in Archer's unit. ⤵️
