Usagi Yojimtober Day 24 - Grave

This is important. I wish we could have seen Usagi going to Katsuichi's "grave" (without knowing he was still alive) at least a couple of times looking for guidance when he was really new in this Ronin thing. Looking back to all the things he teached him.

Specially because Katsuichi was a key part of Usagi's life. I mean, people, he cried for him (and Usagi does not cry often). Not even for his own father.

All this just to say I convinced my brother to read the saga and he did a meme for me that somewhat inspired this drawing

I think the reason found family is so important to people is bc it's the same or greater levels of understanding and care that are supposed come with the family you're born into but without the people in it trying to control you. There is no weird fucked up power imbalance where both parties remember when one was In Charge of All Actions. Or had Higher Authority. there is a special form of love in caring about someone without even attempting to have control over them. One that all to often can only be found, in a found family.
