How do you make userboxes if you don't mind me asking?
Also, if you have enough time and motivation and stuff. I have a request, no stress though :)
1st request. A black, dark purple, or dark blue (Whichever dark cold colour you think would look best) userbox, with text saying "This user is a Nightfury". With a picture of toothless's head. For the background, maybe a picture of toothless flying or the night sky? For box decorations, maybe the strike class symbol and otherkin symbol (I prefer the term otherkin over fictionkin).
2nd request. A userbox with any shade of brown, just somewhat desaturated with text saying "This user is a Wolf", with a picture of a wolf, preferably brown. I'm not sure what the background would be, maybe a forest or river in a forest? Not sure. For box decorations, maybe bones and the theta delta.
Shades of brown included below as an example.
Hi, thank you for the ask !! <3
Making my userboxes are pretty easy, and although I don’t know how to describe it, I’m gonna try and describe it!!
#1 ) Grab your photos that you’re going to use! Such as:
The photos and background
and then the side photos!
2) Import them into a canvas in ibispaintx (I use the ‘x header’, as it works better.)
3) importing your photos, rearrange them until they look like this: (Main image on the left, text box on the right. Photo for the text box is COMPLETELY up to you, you don’t even have to do it!, and then background photo as the last layer)
// for the border outline, I use “stroke: outer” or the rectangle button in the hand button //
4) when adding the mini images, if they don’t have color and they’re black and white, use the “extract lineart” button! It saves a ton of time and helps it better. If it’s color, click no and hand outline what you want to stay and what you want to delete.
And 5) when making my text, it depends on the font I’m using. If the font I have is bubbly, I will separate the letters part by part and then place them together (moving around the letters a bit). If not, I don’t move them by hand.
And voila! You got your own “tavros-like” userboxes!
