Okokokokokokokokokok hear me out... transmasc kitty pryde? kit pryde, perhaps? its one of my favorite headcanons of all time!!

I have heard this one a couple of times before and I really like it. Much like a lot of “character is trans (opposite canon gender)” headcanons, Kit Pryde has a very special place in my heart. Gender exploration with fictional characters is very fun, and I’m hoping there is solidarity between the autism projection and gender identity projection crowd, bahaha. We’re not so different, you and I.

And you know, we can add this headcanon to the transfemme Emma headcanon. Toxically gender affirming Emma Frost, at your service.

in my head john never left and bobby came out and so did kit and rogue never had to go through that stupid cure plotline.

in mcu stuff i like writing him as part of peter's friend group, kinda inspired by the ultimate comics. he used to go to midtown but had to transfer when his powers manifested

besides intangibility he gets the extra powers from ultimate+film!days of future past (mental time travel, increased density=super strength and invulnerability). there was that time later on that his mainstream counterpart could phase through dimensions with the black vortex empowerment thing, so i like the idea that this one can just. Do That.

he's not as practiced with the time travel thing yet though, most he can do when he learns about it is go back a couple of seconds/minutes. uses it like max caulfield in lis to undo Bad Social Interactions

giving him the density thing is just fun tbh. someone tries to punch him and he's just 'ahaha that's cute' and then fucking yeets them. a tiny can of whoopass as @brellafaun put it

as mentioned, his last name is the one from the film novels bc so many versions of rogue don't have a last name given. so i had to start Somewhere

if there's one thing about me it's that i love biblical naming. especially archangel names

raphael is said to be the angel of mental health and healing, which makes me think about rogue's powers being damaging to his mental health sometimes and causing pain but his transition kinda helps with the mental block in there

So… god damn it… we’re just in a completely different world again. Nothing from the last world was wrapped up with the Shadow King or Jamie Braddock. We’re just... onto the next one. There is no rhyme or reason to the pacing of the Cross Time Caper. Excalibur just leaps to a new world, has to wait around for Rachel’s powers to recharge so they can leap again, and sometimes they get stuck for a few days because someone wanders off and gets into trouble. Plot elements are defined that seem like they could go somewhere or have some weight to them, but they never do. Now we’re in Judge Dread world. At least I think it’s Judge Dread world. This sounds like Judge Dread, doesn’t it?

I don’t know. I’ve only seen the Karl Urban movie. And Doug Ramsey and Illyana are running around for no reason. You know what? I’m not going to do any more posts from this issue. Because it doesn’t matter. Nothing that takes place in this comic or the last comic or the one before that is going to matter. Let’s just get on with the end of this thing.
