Dear Diary.

Wow, feels weird to start it like this. Almost like I am not an old man and gone back to High School. But I have far and few friends these days, I feel YOU are my only one who has stood the test of time.

I am currently in London and something happened. SomeONE happened. I am here as I am looking into Charites around the world I want to help with my fortune now I have the time to travel and see what my work does and I decided to give Great Olmond Street Hospital a very large donation. After looking into it, I am sure it is a place my Mother would love and help if she could.

But as I went in to take my tour and see how much I would give, I met HER. Kit. A bright beautiful young woman who caught my attention as soon as our eyes met. I felt things a man my age has not felt in years. I thought chest pains? Stomach issues? No. She showed me around and the more she spoke, the more I wanted to know about her. Curious, I asked her to dinner and to my surprise, she agreed.

I am at my hotel right now and going over to her home to take her to dinner. I can't remember the last time I was nervous about a dinner date. I am not sure if she would be interested in me as more than a financial benefactor and colleague. But I have fought Gods and been to alternate dimensions so anything is possible.

Upon landing in Marseille, and the days leading to this moment, Isabelle was awash with the all too familiar pang of heartache. The grief she thought she had done away had rushed back in waves, each crashing harder than one before. Although endlessly grateful for Kit’s support and companionship, Isabelle couldn’t help thinking that her father should have been the one here beside her.

Turning her attention from the tinted window and back to the Kit, she mustered up the strength to smile softly at her. “Have you decided what you’ll be wearing to the gala?” It was the first thing that popped into Isabelle’s mind as the limousine rolled away from the airport. @kit-just-kit

She never had anyone over at her loft apartment in New York. So when Kit suggested that they were due for a girl's night, she jumped at that opportunity. Adra counted the ingredients on the counter and double checked them against her list. There was already a plate of warm baklavas on the kitchen counter.

Kit had been a huge part of her healing journey and the woman eventually became a close friend - someone whom Adra trusts with her deepest, darkest secrets. And Adra hoped she's the same for Kit. The doorbell rang and Adra got up to open the door with one hand nursing a cigarette. A lazy smirk had hooked onto her lips as she greeted Kit. "I hope you're ready to bake some ass and kick some cookies...." She stopped herself before guffawing. "Bake some cookies and... you know what I mean, come in please!!"

"Sorry, I started without you," Adra held up her cigarette and made a face. She had opened her windows to let the cool air in and ventilate the loft since she's smoking. "I hope my place wasn't too difficult to find? How's your day, Kit?" Adra led the other woman into her kitchen and opened up the fridge. "Feel free to take anything in here! I have beer... Pinot... orange juice if you want to be tame tonight. Coffee if you feel adventurous and tea if you want to indulge in your Britishness."

“Long enough to question every life choice that led me to being awake at this time,” he drawled, a lazy smirk tugging at his mouth. Remi shifted slightly, making room beside him with a subtle gesture, then added, quieter: “…Also long enough to realize I don’t particularly like sitting here when you’re not sitting with me...”
