Update on Rodney
Rodney is home for the night, as they are unable to keep animals overnight at our Vet. His IV is capped, and he will be going back in the morning for further tests, as well as IV fluids and antibiotics. For now, he seems stable. The bill for just what was done today, came to: $1,111.75. So we're still fund raising, as he is going to need even more treatment tomorrow and we have no idea what the cost will be.

This handsome little guy was found around the streets a couple of months ago:As you can see, his back legs are deformed, and vet has told us that this can lead to painful complications for him in the future, so a surgery to correct them is urgent.We've been told such surgery costs around $2500, but we also live on a country where those kind of procedures are really rare, so we're expecting it to be even more expensive, so please, if you're in any place to help, whether it's with money, or by sharing the news, or with prayers or even just wishing him good luck, we'll be forever grateful with you!

I know I haven’t posted for a while, but I have to beg for help from anyone willing to help us with our kitty.
Our Rodney has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. He went downhill very suddenly yesterday, and he is currently at the vets. He is getting IV fluids as he has a fever and there seems to be an infection, so he's also getting antibiotics. He needed xrays and a whole bunch of bloodwork. And he's going to need an ultrasound the vet says. All this is going to be around 2000.00 CAD. So we're asking for any help we can get.

Cutie Pie Needs Rescue 1 Year Meet Cutie Pie, a one-year-old medium-haired calico in need of rescue. Brought into our care as a stray, her past remains a mystery.
When she first arrived, Cutie Pie was terrified—hissing, swatting, and growling at anyone who came near. Even after several days, she struggled to settle in, so our behavior team decided to move her to a quieter office where she could decompress away from the bustle of the shelter. It was there that we discovered the reason behind her fear: Cutie Pie is completely blind.
Suddenly, her defensiveness made perfect sense—imagine being thrust into an unfamiliar environment with no way to see what’s around you. In her new space, she’s begun to relax, slowly mapping out her surroundings and growing more comfortable each day. Still, unfamiliar sounds can startle her, and she may hiss or swat when something catches her off guard.
We’re hopeful that, in a stable environment with a consistent layout and patient care, Cutie Pie’s confidence will continue to blossom and her true personality will shine through. If your rescue is able to offer her that chance, please reach out.
