I have a question. I've posted pics I've taken at Disney on Redbubble but they get taken down for copyright infringement. I was wondering how you avoid that from happening to your images. If you don't mind me asking! thanks!

Hello there! Well, it really depends on what you’re posting! If you didn’t notice already, you’ll see that I have no Disney characters on my Redbubble- every single photo I’ve tried uploading on there that includes a character gets taken off! Heck, even a photo of Cinderella’s Castle was taken down 🤔 

It also just boils down to plain luck, My Wishes! Poster  has been reuploaded three times, the first time it took them three months to find it, the second time was only just about a month, and this third time they have yet to take it down. I also think the reason behind that is because Wishes is now no longer a show, but, hey, whatever gets them to not take it down is great! I’m still shocked that my Spaceship Earth Mural hasn’t been taken down, but, knock on wood.

But yeah! Honestly it’s just about knowing how to avoid character copyright, and luck! And don’t be terrified of them taking it down, when I was first uploading to Redbubble, I had at least 10-15 email in a row saying that my pictures were taken down, and only at the 15th or so in a did they simply and gently warn me about doing it and to try to be careful. So, they’re definitely not as strict as other websites (such as Etsy, which is three strikes and you’re out)

I hope this helped a bit and definitely good luck on your Redbubble sales! Redbubble is an amazing company and it definitely helps with saving funds, especially since you’re not doing anything but uploading a photo! Redbubble is my #1 way of getting money (you know, besides going to work 😉)

Are you (to the best of your knowledge) being blocked by anyone, and if so, how many, and do you know why? I know of one person who has me blocked, but we both have each other blocked so it’s mutual. And the reason for this is no one’s business but our own. And to the few people who do know why KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Because as I said no one’s business but ours.
