Two brews started yesterday

And they're looking pretty good. I didn't like how slow the honeysuckle wine was, so pitched like 1/4 of a packet of 71B on to it.

Activity picked up almost immediately, which seems like a sign of more gas than anything.

Pretty excited for both of these!

New brew day!

These spreads have no preservatives beyond some absorbic and citric acid (which shouldn't be an issue), so we might have some decent strawberry wine at the end of this!

The color is not very appealing. May have to get some real strawberry for stage 2 if only for color

Bottling day!

We have:

1 gallon Orange Juniper Mead

1/2 gallon Jalepeno Wine

1/2 gallon Orange-Chocolate Beet Wine

1 gallon Chamomile-mint Mead

1 gallon Mead

2 bottles all-sorts

Whew! Should be set for a while though

Started a new batch that's been on my to-do list for a while, chamomile-mint mead!

At the Walmarts and spotted this

Had some leftover apples, cranberries in various states, and cider. Topped it with two cups of brown sugar and apple juice
