"I don't like it," He says with a huff. He's been plucking these flowers out. Painful as it is, he doesn't stop. Unfortunately they keep growing right back!

"Hello Spirale, and welcome back tooooooo... Uh, what am I trying this time? Dronechat. Had that one in the maybe pile, but I'm not really feeling it. Well, whatever, it's not like I'm accepting listener feedback on this stuff. You all just have to deal with it. If you don't like it. Then die. I don't care."
"On the other side of the table today, we've got another guy that pretty much everyone in the city knows, because he really seems to pop up everywhere. Real nosy guy. Anyways, it's Eiden. Don't applaud, morons, it's a pre-recorded podcast so no one can hear you."
Having a familiar face like this is probably good for viewership, right? Like, people will go, 'Oh, I know that sex shop owner' and listen to her podcast, right? Because if Uzi doesn't get thousands of hits on the first few episodes she's just going to self-destruct. No, better she gets super popular, then eventually she just gets bored and starts doing something else, like all undiagnosed teenagers do.
"Anyways, Eiden. You definitely bit it during the zombie flick-thing we had going on, right? I mean, you have no cool powers that I know about, no real skills to speak of, not really sure what you do at all, to be honest... Hey, you have died in this city, right? Like, I figure at some point you must've pissed someone off. What's death like, Eiden? Tell the listeners."
@kleinstar
It's no one's fault but his own being out in the open like this and drawing. STILL, he can't hide the annoyance in his face when the familiar face hovers above him to get a good look.
"Do you mind, Eiden?"
Oh, Juliyah is such a shy guy who hides behind that gruff attitude. Clicking his tongue, he closes his sketchbook with a loud thud.

She hasn't had the chance to check out the library until now. Golden Ward is just so, so far away, and she just can't, can't find the energy. Even now, she felt drained, felt empty, but somehow, someway, she'd dragged herself all the way across the city. She pays no heed to the inky black footprints she leaves behind as she trudges to the university, and finally, to the library.
Part of her felt that she should've been elated at seeing so many books, with no one to judge her reading. Even the few grayscale island residents that hovered around all seemed preoccupied with themselves, leaving her alone.
Nier picked the first one off the shelf that caught her interest, but as soon as her fingers brushed the spine and opened the cover, the black began to spread. It rushed over the pages, blotting out the words and rendering the whole thing unreadable.
Looking up, Nier spots the man who had told her about the library in the first place. Now, part of her feels like she should be heartbroken, but instead, she doesn't feel anything.
"Eiden, look..." she says, voice somewhere between a whimper and a monotone. "The pages are ruined, how can I read it like this? How can anyone read it...?"
She puts the book back on the shelf, and already, the black begins to spread to the neighboring volumes. Watching the color spread like hungry tendrils, Nier sighs. "Ah... Maybe I shouldn't have come here after all..."
@kleinstar
"So, that blond guy that you talk to a lot...Are you guys, y'know....A thing?" Did he even know what that entailed? Why did he look so smug? Like he was onto something?
"It's okay if you are! You know you can tell Lil' Bro Oliver ANYTHING."
@kleinstar
"hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--AH! There ya go!" Wow, even something so small at the moment required her to use so much energy to just move it with her mind. Telekinesis is hard work!
"Mister Eiden, how is that?" She calls from the ground. She's helping him fix something on the roof of his building.
@kleinstar
Sun paces back and forth along the line of what separates him and the river below him. He’s making distressed noises and rubbing his hand over a naked wrist.
“Ah--” And when he turns his head to look at someone approaching, he recognizes them immediately. He rushes over, both hands latches onto the man’s shirt, “Eid-Eiden...please help me. I dropped my bracelet in the river. It’s very important to me, b-but I can’t swim. I’m scared.”
"I sure am using all the toys that I purchased from you @kleinstar, and I gotta say: Your design for these bad boys are EXQUISIT." you bet your ass that Indigo's been mentioning Spot where ever they were. Within reason and depending on who was around of course.
"What'cha been up to, by the way? You're staying out of trouble right? Met any hotties lately?"
