Batman 137, cover date February 1961, had a decided sci-fi slant. In "Robin's New Boss" Robin joined a new hero who used futuristic devices. Batman investigated Mr Marvel and discovered not only had he forced Robin to join him, but also that he was, in reality, an alien. In "Teacher from the Stars" Batman and Robin dealt with three more aliens and their alien teacher.
