New OC Introduction

                           Number Eight | Cora Hargreeves

Cora was the eighth October first child adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves. Gifted with the powers of telekinesis and precognition, she was dubbed The Seer. Part of her role on the team was using her (albeit spotty) visions of the future to help them locate targets and plan missions. In his attempts to focus her psychic powers, Reginald would often lock her in a sensory deprivation chamber. This left her with an intense fear of the dark and the need for constant noise, which lead to her obsession with music. Her telekinesis was tested against Diego's knife throwing This left a few scars but she also learned to move really fast when necessary Diego didn't like it, but he did as he was told. A bit of a rebel, Cora's always been closest with Klaus (think Luther and Allison but more stable) and Ben. After leaving the Academy she starts working at a local diner and moonlights as a sculptor

Corellian News Briefs (8/5/19)

CORONET CITY - Newly installed Prime Minister Victoria Scatter was sighted spending several hours gambling in the notorious Blue Sector last week! "I just got lucky is all " she said walking away at the end of the night winning a HyperGem Ring. Admiral Mus'pell Vharos of the Eyttyrmin Corsairs, demolished in record time took home 800 credits from the tournament joking, "Guess I should have let my Monkey play!" A good time was had by all and free drinks almost led to one cat-fight among the players, but some questioned if the Prime Minister should be partying hard with all of the problems of the city and planet these days, while others defended her "Some people don't like anything."

SELONIAN TUNNEL NETWORK, CORONET - We still have very little information on what is going on below the ground of Coronet City but sources continue to send in footage. If you have information on what is it that is transpiring contact us.  It is alarming to say the least, all we know as this point is it’s all somehow connected to this “Golden Mask” cult and involved this “Klora the Hutt” who is suspected of murdering several people by consuming them.

VRENI ISLAND - In a shocking turn of events it has been found out through sources on the Island itself that CorSec Commandant Vakira Crane has been seen aiding the Scourge now.  Had they been with them all along or converted? Deeply troubling that one of the highest ranked officials in CorSec seems to be aiding this terrorist organization.  Sources also inform us that Scourge Warlord Sk’ar has held off executions for now after a negotiation with Councilor Turq, still some deaths have been reported among those who tried to escape. We estimate 1300-1400 hostages remain on the Island after acts on the Island by the Councilor Zwee and off by Councilor Turq have reduced the number.

RHEN VAR - It has been said that the Jedi returned to Rhen Var to follow up some leads from a couple months back about the location of the troublesome Darth Rancorous, the apprentice of the infamous Darth Hex who died during the Phobis War.  They were joined by some forces out of the Fel Empire including the Empress herself. Rancorous is said to have developed a powerful version of force stasis in which he was able to hold back most of the Jedi and Fel members.  It is said that Rancorous greatly underestimated the Jedi and Fel forces and his tactical error lead to his defeat by Jedi Master Taaj, some force experts theorize the Darth exerted too much energy in keeping up the stasis to be able to dispatch the Jedi Master as he had hoped.  Perhaps the strangest part of this story is that they are said to have found an Echani woman there who bears an uncanny resemblance to the former leader of the One Sith;  Darth Vrana. It is unknown if this is of any significance as we were unable to get any official comments on this or who this Echani may be.

NAL HUTTA - It is said Gor’gon he HUTTler is on a business trip back to his Clan holdings on Nal Hutta.  There is a lot of speculation about what Gor’gon may be up to.

PRAKITH - Rumor is that the One Sith have made this ancient world their primary outpost within the Core.  With the proximity to Corellia as well as the Fel Empire, Byss, Republic, and even the Tetan Empire it does seem that the organization may be a looming threat.  For now the Confederation does not seem inclined to further pursue them after what seemed to be their exit from Corellia.

Thriff seemed to remain the same, her recovering coming slow and difficult. Many were worried that her little body was permanently damaged by the poison that had been in her body for so long with out anyone realizing. It was early in the morning when she crept down the hall. Her Amad was already up. Sneaking into the room she crawled onto the bed and began to jump, landing on her Adad's stomach. "Papa!" she giggled, although still a little pale. "It's spring, can we play outside today?"

A whoosh of air expelled from his lungs as he awoke, bleary eyes locking onto the one who disturbed his slumber. Suddenly, a familiar giggle rang through the air,  causing him to wrap his arms around his daughter, smoothing her hair as he delightedly replied, “My little princess- we can play outside all the day, and every day that you please…are you feeling better, Thriff? The moment you feel as if you are tired, you are to let me know, is that understood?” Kili cautioned, showering kisses in her curls as he held her close.

Thorin continued to nurse and care for his One. He spent copious amounts of time caring to her every whim, so much so, Oin moved them to a private room. He was returning for the fifth time that day with some fresh wild flowers for Tala. When he had returned their kiss had grown heated, so much so that he had ended up laying on the bed with Tala straddling his lap. His breathy gasps could heard as she kissed his neck. His hands rested on her hips as he didn't hear the door open

Well aware of where his son now spent most of his time, Kili griped as he made his way towards the healing quarters, weaving through the common room towards the private room Tala now occupied. Knocking on the door, the slightly ajar door yielded to his touch, swinging open to reveal the…interesting scene. Clearing his throat loudly, he waited in the doorway for several moments before he spoke. “Niyodith, would care to go hunting of a different nature with me?”
