test knitters wanted!
hello hello!
I have several patterns formulating at the moment, and have too few hands and too little time to make them all myself to see if the patterns are solid! descriptions below the cut.
Fruit Sweaters 2.0: a revamp of my strawberry sweater pattern I made a few years ago, now with a folded collar, poofier sleeves, and a (hopefully) more consistent fit as sizes increase. now with cherry and peach options. calls for worsted weight yarn on US size 5 and 6 needles. intended to be worn with positive ease.
Nettle: an elegant little sleeveless turtleneck with saddle shoulders, bust darts, and waist shaping in broken rib stitch, finished with scalloped edging. calls for fingering weight yarn on US size 1 and 2 needles. intended to be worn with negative ease.
Magical III: a boxy crop tee with a repeating pattern of trans symbols and hearts. my third iteration in the Magical line. calls for fingering weight yarn on US size 3 needles. intended to be worn with some positive ease.
These first three are mostly written and should be ready to test knit within the week. I try to design for all sizes, (range of 65cm to 176 cm busts across patterns), so I will likely have a size ready for anyone.
MixyMatchy: a mulitlevel pattern with different elements; choose your design as you go! choices include sleeveless, flutter sleeves, and 3/4 sleeves; simple hem or ruffles; and star, heart, or moon keyhole. will use fingering weight yarn on US size 2 needles. intended to be worn with negative ease.
Basil Cardigan: a chunky cardigan design based on the character art of my first 5.0 dnd character, Basil Brighthearth. it will be chunky and warm, with elbow patches and slouchy fit. will use chunky yarn, needle size TBD. meant to be worn with lots of positive ease.
These last two have yet to be written (or even swatched, but they are bouncing around in my brain).
If you are interested in test knitting any of these, please message me! I don't pay my test knitters bc I don't have the funds for that, but bc I don't pay, I also don't do deadlines.
