Black Yarn
The saying goes: “If someone makes you something out of yarn, they like you. If they make it out of black yarn, they love you.” My first knitting project of 2024 is a ribbed hat. For me. In black yarn. 😍
Black Yarn
I expected to need more fingering weight black yarn, but I didn’t. Happy Sad. 😬
Santa Hat
December 2011. I knit my Santa hat to wear every year from the day after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. I look better in it now than I did then! 🎅🏻 ❤️ 💛 💚
Black Yarn
Decreases! I’ve knit several of these caps. After nine inches of fingering weight ribbing in black, I’m glad (relieved) to begin decreasing.
Short Socks
Fourteen inches left over. I call that a happy ending. I knit this worsted yarn on US 1 DPNs for a super dense fabric. Don’t do that.
