Recently went for an eye test which showed some interesting things that got me thinking how best to treat the issues at hand. SCRIPTURE:
Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice! On the hilltop along the road, she takes her stand at the crossroads. OBSERVATION:
Wisdom can be found pretty much anywhere if I'll just look and listen for it...
I don't have to go someplace "special" to find wisdom - to so someone special - just Someone special, Who is never far, never removed to some mountaintop or ashram or desert retreat...
Wisdom is available to everyone - Wisdom calls to me, raises her voice to me... speaks plainly to me - if I'll just stop what I'm doing and realize with understanding and knowledge what I'm doing's not wise if it's just in my own eyes...
APPLICATION:
Like at railroad crossings:
Stop
Look
Listen
Apply what I've learned with understanding guided by the Spirit...
PRAYER:
All wise and present Heavenly Father God - Thank You for Your Spirit's leading me back again and again to Your undying words of wisdom and grace - I freely admit to wandering from Your presence in my own mind, to being unwise and failing to use the knowledge and experience You have graced me with to see You in action around me... May I listen as wisdom calls me, and may I return to Your path following the way of Jesus Who so perfectly gave His will and life to Your loving hand in true obedience - on my behalf... In His Name, and for Your eternal glory and honor and worship...
