The Magicians aesthetic: the Knowledge Discipline
I imagine that these are the kids who love learning for the sake of learning. While the practical application of magic is all well and good, they’re more interested in the history and theory-- kind of like a music major who would rather study composition than performance. They might not be the best magicians, but they have the largest bodies of esoteric knowledge.
