Okay, I’m asking this in all sincerity:

Do trolls even have crotches?? 🤔😂

I mean, every time the “Third Rule” kicks in during the show, the one getting hit always looks like they’re in serious pain! Someone please enlighten me!!

Also, let’s be honest… the Batman suit definitely needs a bit more of a heroic bulge.lol

I really like the character Walter Strickler, but I always get stuck wondering whether to call him Walter or Strickler! Personally, calling him Strickler just feels more natural to me—calling him Walt kinda makes me feel shy, haha… (totally not important). But then I realized, I do usually call my favorite characters by their first names—like Zoro of "ONE PIECE". (Wait, is Zoro’s family name actually Roronoa?????) I don’t know, it just makes me feel all embarrassed somehow!!!! Anyway, never mind!!! 😂

But more importantly—don’t you think Strickler’s profile is insanely hard to draw!?!? His nose totally pushes up Barbara’s glasses…

That aside—Stricklake Month has finally reached the last week! Yaaaay!! Bring it on! 🎉

Keen Swimmers 2025, Week two : Mundane

Week 2’s prompt came with both a fic and an illustration from me! Took me forever to finish, lol.

If We Dare to Dream

Caption : Walt, who rarely breaks anything, has just shattered a glass. Sensing the awkwardness that has lingered in him these past few days, Barbara finally decides to speak.

A story of two people from different worlds, facing the difficult question of “children” and reaffirming their love and their future together.

Written to portray a warm, mature relationship built on the sincere wish for each other’s happiness.

Keen Swimmers 2025, Week three : crossover

“The Shape of Our Water”🫧

This week, I went with a crossover! The theme is The Shape of Water. In the end it turned into more of a parody! 😂 Painting with heavy shading is tough… definitely a challenge for me going forward!

In the drawing below, I put Walter in Strickland’s shoulder harness (…I think that’s what it’s called?). I’d love to put this on other fave characters too—it just looks so cool!!

Though in my version it kind of ended up looking like backpack straps, lol.

That scene with Elisa was so cool, right? I was like, “Yes, you tell him!!”

I felt a little bad, but I just had to recreate it with Barbara and Walter 😂. Poor Walter was so shocked his eyes totally went blank 🤣

In my country’s gag comics, characters often roll their eyes back like that when they’re surprised or in shock—but I wonder how it comes across in other countries? I just hope the expression makes sense!

I also really wanted to draw a Back to the Future piece for the time travel prompt this week… but I don’t think I’ll make it in time. Tragic 🥀

Barbara, tending to her garden, spots a pixie and—showcasing her incredible reflexes—manages to trap it inside an empty jam jar. She happily reports it to Strickler, unaware of the situation, while in his mind he’s screaming, “Please, just… don’t open that jar.”
