Hey, no worries, I'm super late in answering because I started to and then got distracted! I think Baby ought to take the cake on this one.
I got her as an egg, right? Well, it was kind of weird. We were staying at a pokemon center for a few nights while I challenged the gym in Snowpoint - I hated the way there and wanted to hunker down and take it easy before and after the gym. On my second to last day, I noticed a bit of a commotion among the staff, and when I asked, turns out one of their chancey laid an egg! Not just their normal eggs, with all the healing nutrients, but an actual pokemon egg. Apparently this just doesn't happen often?? I asked if it was going to stay there and be raised to be a healer like it's mother, but since they had no idea who the other parent was, they were going to give it away to a shelter once the chancey let them. They already had a couple resident mons that weren't healers and didn't have room for more. I offered to take it, and a couple interviews and a background check later, I was able to take her! I had to buy an extra insulated incubator because of the snow, but it was worth it 💕
