These days I'm reading a lot, but can't manage to find a really good novel that keeps me locked till the end. Any suggestions? My favorite book is The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov, but I adore Stephen King, Fitzgerald and Kerouac as well.

Hanami in Tokyo
If Island hopping were an Olympic specialty, I'd be a Gold medal for sure. These shots are of Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan and Koh Muk, Southern Thailand. They belong to Krabi and Trang provinces and can be visited on a day trip by private long tail boat. Here you'll find some of the most pristine beaches and waters in all Thailand.
A typical snorkelling trip to Surin Islands
https://krabi.guide/snorkelling-in-surin/
My last blog about a day trip to Surin, departing from Khao Lak.
Surin should be on your must visit list in Thailand because they are some of the most pristine islands you will experience in the Kingdom.
One day in Surin Islands: empty beaches, crystal waters, and the sea-gypsies village of the Moken.
You probably haven’t heard about Surin before, because this archipelago of 5 islands in the Andaman sea, almost at the border between Thailand and Myanmar, is not as popular as Similan, Phuket or other Thai postcard perfect destinations. But Surin are one of the most pristine marine areas in the country, probably in all the Andaman coast, and a great spot for snorkelling and diving.
This is my short video about a day trip to Surin from Khao Lak, in January 2021.
A day-trip to Similan Islands, Thailand, January 2021
For my birthday this year I took a few days off and gave myself a super present: a trip to Similan Islands, one of the most pristine and wonderful marine areas in Thailand (perhaps in the world). Without the crowds, trash and human- generated pollution, the Andaman sea is more turquoise than ever, the white soft beaches as deserted as you’ll ever see them.
L' Amatriciana spiegata a sua figlia (Thai)
Backstage of our cross cultural cooking evenings with the team / family. Pluto teaches his (Thai) daughter how to cook Amatriciana, an Italian dish. Foreigners often love Thai cuisine, but what about Thais eating Italian food?
“The trouble is, you think you have time.” (Buddha)
Do you, still? I stopped thinking to have time, and if there’s anything I learnt in the past two years is to stay in the moment, and live it, and never postpone anything I really want to say, or do. I leave the dish dirty, and I’m always behind with my laundry, but who cares? I watch sunrises and sunsets, pet my cats, travel whenever I have the chance and the need to go, spend time talking -really talking- with people I love and sip and enjoy my coffee in the morning like it were the last one.
