I come from a family of reporters. Looking at this guy with a weird eerie neutrality to everything is kinda hilarious to watch.
Onyn makes very strange...educated guesses about the anomalies around him in a hyperfocused state. As a bat he seems to have trained him self to block out other people or he even has earplugs to reduce the loudness. Thinking the virtue dragon and the demon rabbit are pretending to like each other to stop Chikn.
(I don't even think Onyn fully recognizes his quickly developing crush on Chikn, himself. From the "You can expand your influence" to "Losing my way" video he seems to think its critical to tell Chikn of his findings in a penguin pebbling manner. Projecting his beliefs in a better "weirder" world. Too lost in his craft, his "mission" and definitely with a savior complex. All in all Chikn enjoys his company but just wants him to settle down.)
Onyn's truly desperate for change in a concerning way because of his somewhat misanthropic mindset. He's truly hurting deep inside. It's like sure, Chikn would greatly benefit the world but his powers are still too unstable. He's the only one who knows how to use them(with a lack of parental figures in his life) and last time he used at full strength it was out of spite because Chee neglected him...
Some of Onyn's motives are in the right but he's too danged stubborn to listen to reason, struggling with empathy and thinking very unreasonably. overly intense about his mission even when shown kindness by Chikn and his friends. He sees them as targets because he thinks Chikn must fulfill and change the prophecy to benefit the world rather than warp it in volition.
Despite the fact that the reason the world wasn't destroyed was because he made friends who accepted him as he is, even when they were involuntarily normalized by Chikn's happier powers.
Though Chikn doesn't really trust himself because he's "infected" too many worlds.
Onyn's very sensitive to "shifting moods" getting spiteful thoughts at the end of that video too. As mentioned he seems to have a savior complex, which in reality can mean being pushy to help everyone. When you think it's going to benefit everyone. That you must help everyone yourself or you're worthless. Being the "savior" even if involves serious risk.
It's like, ultimately Chikn knows he can't wait too late because humanity is definitely in danger of destroying itself( in the real world, too).
He can act formal and calm one moment but rather defensive and rude when questioned by Chee about already knowing prophecies written about Chikn, because he prides himself on being an occult extraordinare. And he has serious trust issues. I feel like that's his only thing keeping his pride together, his position. He sees so much hurt in the world that he feels helpless, its definitely affected him to travel all the way to the source of anomalies. That he must be overly insistent toward the demigod of chaos as his only hope;
Chikin blessed and cursed with the ability to shapeshift everything in his path with varying degrees of instability.
Also being around Chikn seemed to mollify him in a way he didn't even intend...
But he doesn’t know how to not destroy things when he is truly distressed....is what Onyn fails to empathize with. They can definitely work something out but lets just hope Onyn doesn't say the wrong thing from his studies and make Chikn reasonably upset 😑
Chikn would probably handle it well since he has most of his memories but what if Onyn brings up something really bad that he repressed?
Regardless of what ANY fan theory says about the morally grey bat he's trying to be helpful in his own way. The only person he does care about is Chikn, at the end of the day. He only wants to center him, he's tired of talking to people, deeply desiring to become an actual disciple of a god. But he's so in this mindset of being a savior that he's not focused on anything else.
He's not even BAD, he's just...deeply emotionally unstable with a savior complex.
And deep down he does like Chikn past his powers and is sheepishly warming up to the friendliness. He is adulated by his kindness but he can't help but idolize him because it seems he has no one else to rely on...he's the type to push away others easily. Truly he wants a better world but is neglecting Chikn's own ability to control some of his powers.

I'm pretty sure Toriel got drunk because she had a panic attack when Kris didn't come home. Dess disappeared when they were like EIGHT. She probably assumed the worst. Depending on if you unlocked the weird route she might notice something was off about Noelle, or she'll just be upset that she thought you ran away, that's my prediction. Sans being there to let Toriel loosen up a little is....a bit messy.
But then again, he could just be in the mindset of "I understand rowdy teenagers, if Kris doesn't come back in a few hours I will help Toriel look for them" BECAUSE YOU KNOW HE WILL??? In Undertale: Dude literally promised someone who he probably learned was the missing queen as her secret; to spare the human beings that were sacrificed before Frisk fell down. Someone who he otherwise only knew anonymously. Bro is literally a just an oddly benign older brother what'd you think was gonna happen??? I'm pretty sure Sans didn't say anything because HE knew that Kris might get super grounded the moment Toriel becomes sober again so he didn't call too much attention to it to just live in the moment a little longer. And also, the indifference of Sans is a little hard to read at times. He's probably just glad that, as a stranger to the family, Toriel has nothing else to worry about except her juvenile child Kris out past midnight and teaching elementary school.
Maybe he also felt a bit annoyed that Kris didn't come home out of sympathy for their mother; because of how upset Toriel felt WITH this context; so he thought saying nothing would be better. Remember how he relies on white lies in the King Papyrus ending/Mettaton ending to try and keep Papyrus optimistic when Undyne dies/is KILLED(and Papyrus learns silently that she will probably not come back)? Papyrus is a people pleaser/a sweetheart jock that just wants to brawl and spar; where as Sans is a hedonistic individual who would rather just relax than accidentally start meaningless drama(because its heavily implied he's disabled as a literal glass cannon). So it can sometimes look bad on his part. But dude. Stop thinking that isn't the same Sans just because Kris is struggling with the fact that their parents are divorced but just want their parents to be happy. They don't need to be together. They just should be there for Kris. Kris is old enough to know that their adoptive parents were not in a healthy understanding anymore.
Sans was the only one she let in. Honestly, as someone who's mom struggles with her mental health at times and her therapy is her garden because she doesn't want to tell a stranger her problems....I get it. ALSO SHUT UP?
Knowing Toriel, she enacted the divorce for good reason. Divorce is a good thing when your children have to watch you fight?? Look I'm all for break ups when it is needed but I also hated when people use mental health as a means to say "a mentally unstable person is morally unsound" or to most of a fascistic society literally "unlovable". You're gonna have to realize that many people AREN'T trying to hurt your feelings.
Toriel and Asgore have always been a rocky couple, they didn't find much common ground in the end. Yes they're both soft individuals at heart but also you got to break those barriers and unneeded boundaries you need to actually give them something/ someone to protect for the greater good. Y'all take it out on Spamtenna(to a riduclous degree, honestly in the worst of the discourse there is so much sanism, mostly with Spamton) honestly when Toriel and Asgore are the ones who just need to cooperate and co parent like normal. Asgore has to not be so stubbornly dependent(and BORDERING ON CREEPY) when she clearly said no, we're not getting back together. Because she is the emotionally wiser one normally.
Sans and Toriel are ultimately good for each other whether you like it or not??
Side note: In Undertale's many neutral endings, there's one when Papyrus is murdered and enough monsters are killed, he resorts to moving in with Toriel(as her friend who may be something more) since he has NO ONE LEFT and this is the one where he says "I am going to hunt you down". And this is in the context of, Frisk is your "vessel" and they don't realize it, they are a child who is effected by you protecting their soul from danger. That's why Chara knows you are the root of the problem in the absolute worst ending, No Mercy. Frisk's moral ground is wanting to be friends as evident by Flowey's "let Frisk be happy", they are a peaceful child. In "no mercy", Frisk is probably completely out of commission because WE'RE possessing them dude. Frisk is like a "Weird Route Equipped Noelle" and we cannot hear their voice at all, unlike Noelle who will probably be a party member again of her own will when the Roaring Knight comes back if we just let her have autonomy. Think about that "Nailed on the cross" imagery from Chapter 2 in the normal route only as foreshadowing.

Is this well written? I’ve debated on posting that one a while because of the complexity of gender but I really like how it turned out. Also I think masc lesbian Capochin, very confident in his gender taking the burden for her and pretending to be the persona she created is sweet. In his own messy little way.
