Kroot Carnivores

I finished the Kroot mini of the month just before the end of the month!

Well, gonna put a tuft of dried grass on that base when I find my basing kit out XD

Bonus: guess who’s on anti-depressants now!

Apparently collecting and painting too much Warhammer is not a healthy way to fight depression! Who knew?

I’ve always thought that the Kroot look cool and this month’s free mini afforded me with the opportunity to paint a Kroot Carnivore 😁 a lot of fun with some gorgeous sculpted details across the model. Terrific representative for the T’au on my shelf 🤣

That was a lot of mold line removal! But the reward is an awesome addition to my growing T'au army.

Even though the Carnivores are over 20 years old I still think they look very menacing, like they captured the cold murderous look of a predator bird like animal very well. I absolutely love them!

Gave some of them the shoulder things from the breacher team to buff them up a little bit and make them look more fitting in the army. Also put a lot of extra bits on that came with the Carnivore kit ofcourse. Might make some greenstuff bands and adore them with skulls but idk yet, gotta think that one through.

Alpha Legion force ideas

As they are meant to be the opposite to my Inquisition force, I thought that they should embody everything that the Inquisition abhors. So it will contain daemons, mutants, heretics annnnnnnnnd....xenos. But the only Xenos I shall add will be a pack of Kroot Carnivores, I want to make them like the Kroot Mercenaries of the old chapter approved. I just need to find a copy.
