Sho Kunin has always been a helpful guy. Often the school's second option if Budo is unavailable. Despite how helpful he is (such as training Ryuto amongst others), I feel like his reputation usually stems from the town.
You can usually see Sho walking around doing daily errands, whether it's for his mother or someone else around the town. Little kids and the elderly often sit him down to have long talks with him, which he happily agrees in order to entertain them.
The only flaw I see Sho having is his accusatory nature. I'm sure he's learned to tone it down, but he does still actively point out suspicious looking people. For instance, hooded folks who look to be following unattended young ladies, those same hooded folks hovering around the outside of a gas station, and so on and so forth.
More often than not, it usually turns out to be a simple "coincidence" and nothing happens after. This could either be because it truly was a coincidence or because they don't want any trouble from Sho.
I feel like, in a way, he's almost more capable than Budo in that way. Despite Budo being stronger, he's also incredibly nice. If he saw Ayano or someone else he saw in a positive light harm someone, he'd likely pause, either out of shock or because he's trying to rationalize why this event could happen. Meanwhile, if Sho saw Mina harm someone, he would apprehend her immediately and ask questions afterward.
(It is only now that I am realizing that my art style only does justice for pretty boys. 😔)
