Reading Thousand Autumns: Chapter 3

Another blooming tea- but I deeply regret not using a steeper for this one.

So the teas have been lovely, but there is no description on what is in each ball. Just a surprise whenever I go to steep them.

This one was a whole lot of tiny jasmine flowers. Beautiful, fragrant- but so hard to drink. It didn't help that I over steeped it; way too bitter.

However- we are not here for my tea shame- let's get into chapter 3!

Oh man, the way Yu Shengyan was so quick to effortlessly lie to Shen Qiao. I kind of hope Shen Qiao gets his memories back just for the drama of this all. p.32

I do love that demonic sects are just mean spoiled hedonists. Yu Shengyan- study hard, party hardy. p.33

Yan Wushi's battle with Kunye must not have been a challenge or very exciting since it required no comment. Makes me have more questions about what happened with Shen Qiao. p.36

I had to purchase some new tea bags (they arrived this evening!) so I had some hot water this morning with my reading.

The tea bags I bought are definitely not the sizes I intended. I have some large ones and really tiny ones LMAO. I am kind of excited for the littles.

EEEP! The final chapter of book 2- i can't even believe it!

Let's get into chapter 52—

"He didn't think his actions shameless or unjust" Broooo. p.346

Kunye having the audacity to act shocked even though he's a dirty rotten cheater AND a sneak, is wild. I am baffled that he expected anything different to happen. p.347

Shen Qiao can't catch a break. It feels like there's always a 90% chance he'll be injured at any given moment. p.349

Shen Qiao: He's a cold hearted bitch and always was one, but if he dies, we're fucked. p.351

I love that this book ended on such a high. I am all in for this man to go and rescue his demonic cultivator Not Friend.
