My contribution to the @mkredraw / Magic Kaito Redraw project! Naturally I had to request a page with Kurobot \(￣ω￣)/ Babby Hex has some pretty vivid memories of being floored by the grotesqueness of this reveal lmao

Check out the completed project here! Aside from my own tumultuous adventure working on the actual art* this was a pretty smooth zine experience. Big thanks to the team for putting this together, and great job everyone!!

*hahahahaha fun fact this file almost certainly had over 1000 layers in it over the course of its working life (deceased)

Here it is! Finally! my third (fourth??) year of joining @kaishinbigbang 

Link to fic: Stained Glass Soul

I worked with the total bro and amazing talent @cleflink​ this year and i had an great time. i won’t spoil too much but we decided to work with a theme of dissonance in identity with our AR-outfitted cyberpunk future setting. Get ready for internal angst, robots (not just Kaito this time) and taking down the government for fun!

The original concept started off being called Kintsugi and this was my prompt piece: 

can you tell this is a heavy-handed trans metaphor now

The Robot Kaito from The Clockwork Heart? I'm going to call them Kaibot.

(Because I can't be bothered typing Robot Kaito all the time and the 'Kai' in Kaibot could stand for either Kuroba Kaito or Kaitou KID instead of emphasising one identity over the other.)
