It was so unlike their reunion in the tower three days past, when the vampire had grabbed her and examined her for cracks or flaws. As if she were his possession, not a person. (Church AU)

N/A: Hum, sort based on the idea of Kate leaving him. How bad that could be?

It wasn´t planned, that´s a detail it must be stated time and time again, it wasn´t planned her escape far from it because as soon Kate saw an opening in the defences she didn´t object to leaving wearing the clothes in her body and nothing more.

How long will it take for him to notice I´m gone?

Kate wonders as she´s now in the forest hide in an oak tree that is big enough for her petite body and her stomach is growling as she remembers she didn´t plan anything.

(She runaway because frankly, Karcist Szardos seems to see her more as an object than a person. She loves him, a cross she must bear, but, she is not an object)

"What will I do?" Kate asked to herself gulping as suddenly the forest seems to be bigger and scary as if out of a nightmare. "No, no fear. I can do it"

She leaves the tree and starts to walk and remember the words of Karcist Szardos about the outside world and how dangerous it is. "Oh Kate, they will eat you alive in one bite, my love, a sweet thing like you is a nice meat for them"

Who are they? Why they would try to hurt Kate?

She may never know and maybe is for the best to never met them.  And the woman walks in the forest until she met a little cottage, is almost like Snow White´s tale, except is clearly abandoned and filthy.

"Ok, I need to sleep and think about what I can do, you can do it, Kate, you can do it" she opens the door and yes, the cottage is dessert and dirty. She made a 5 minutes cleaning so she could sleep in this place and drift away thinking on Karcist Szardos. "I´m not an object"

Meanwhile, the church has to deal with something very dangerous. Something they had no means of control. "Karcist Szardos, I know you´re...unhappy with the news, but, we´re looking for her" one brave soul state and Kurt only sent the deadliest glare ever.

"She´s not here. I told you to make sure she´s alright and instead she is gone" Karcist Szardos is showing his fangs and look even more demonic than before. "I´ll find her, I promise that to myself that I´ll"

And when Kate opens her eyes she sees herself being carried away on Karcist´s horse along with the man who wrapped her in his cape. Was all a dream?

N/A: Kitty has no idea who Creepy is. I´m taking this as a continuation from the last Amalgam! Verse.

After that night, Kitty Pryde/Columbina manages to see a lot more of Kurt Ryder and Creepy. Is true that Kitty wants to know who the Creepy is, and goes as far as to fly all around New Gotham to see if she could spot the Green wacko, but, there´s nothing indicating he is there.

Columbina is flying one more time tonight, just to make sure she didn´t miss the Green Wacko, once again, she didn´t spot him anywhere, yet, she notices something different.

A typical villain of the week who is threating to blow the building, Columbina overheard that the detectives don´t understand what lead the calm Dr Sanders to went insane, which to be fair, should be something that would be pretty obvious by now.

Columbina is not a hero and could leave, but, she is bored tonight and decides to do something. Poor crazy Dr Sanders he never got a chance against Columbina.

"Columbina!" Kurt Ryder speaks amused and Columbina wonders where this man pops up, then again, she only notices the huge crown now.

Really? An insane Dr has a gun and people are here to look? Only in New Gotham indeed.

"Well, you´re not Wrong" she jokes and Kurt Ryder chuckles at this. "How did you find out Dr Sanders´s plan?"

Columbina is still hovering in the air and let the man wait in curiosity until she confesses. "I didn´t know jack shit. I look at him and notice he look as is girlfriend break up with him and lol behold is what happened, just that"

Kurt Ryder ponders for a moment. "Are you the greatest detective alive or a seer?"

"Well, if you are the greatest detective alive...maybe I´m a seer, who knows?" and winks at him and flies away. Missing the fact Kurt Ryder is smiling way too amused.

Kitty Pryde does not have to worry about the program now. They are in well-deserved vacation time and people don´t seem to mind the reruns and Kitty could use that time to do anything else...but her curiosity is too much.

"Uhm, who are you, Creepy?" she said biting her nail and looking at the photos in front of her.

"I´m me, dear Katzchen!" Creepy peak climbing in her window and once again wearing almost nothing. The man has an insane smile on his face and greets Kitty in his usual way.

Kitty is not afraid of the man, even if the rest of the neighbours are more than ready to kill him if he so much makes Kitty sherd a tear(yeah, she is strangely well-liked by ex-villains and ex-vigilant here)

"Creepy! Why can´t you enter like a normal person?"

"Katzchen, I´m Nightcreeper I don´t do doors" and laughs maniacally at his own joke and Kitty covers her ears, her neighbour told to Creepy to shut up.

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to see who is you, Creepy!" she exclaims and the man only smiles wild "but no success, oh, Creepy...can´t you just tell me who you are?"

"NOPE"

Kitty is bemused at that. "Then, can I show you off to Ryder? Oh, he would be so jealousy...and he would feel so dumb, Creepy he thinks you are not real"

Creepy snickers "someone will feel dumb indeed"

Columbina manages to find his house pretty quickly and she thanks the social media and Ryder´s sluttiness to allowed her to find this place, his place, and Columbina is looking at his fancy house.

He has a good life.

"Columbina, funny to see a heroine at this hour" Ryder is there drinking wine and is offering a goblet to Columbina. "What I can do for you?"

"I..." he is taking this too well and Columbina needs to assert dominance here. "I need your help, you´re arrogant, but, also one of the best detectives ever"

Kurt Ryder is smiling and his eyes do resemble a tad bit of Creepy, which is odd. "If that is about.. your imaginary friend the Creepy..."

"I need your help to find laboratory 23" and with her reply this makes Kurt Ryder stop smiling and is caught on surprise, thankfully, the man did an article about the lab...said lab was set on fire under mysterious circumstances.

And once Ryder gives the information Columbina leaves and Ryder was sure that this is not how he was planning.

"Why you don´t believe me?" Kitty said to Ryder once they are together eating a nice pastry to celebrate the new season Kitty´s show got, she is a hell of a good comedian and Ryder can´t deny that.

"What? A hunk man enters into your apartment?" Kurt said bemused

"And he is always wearing a thong, a red thong"

"Right...A red thong, look, Kitty, if you have your kinks is fine, no need to announce to everyone else" and then he adds "unless...this is a subliminal message you are sending to me?"

"You jerk, shut up"

Columbina is looking at model photos, well, male model photos and is forming a theory. Creepy is jumping around and in a moment to make him be less crazy. "You know...you would make a great model"

"Oh...Like Ryder?" he said amused now and giving that smile that all the criminals in New Gotham fear, which is great, cause a member of a gang was hoping in sneak upon Columbina and fight her but think again and decides to go home.

"Ryder was a model?"

"If Ryder was a model, I was a model too"

"Did Ryder ever wear thongs?"

And Nightcreeper laughs amused at that.

"Good morning, kitty" Ryder speaks as he completes his show, is still morning, and the woman is blushing once she sees the man.

"Ryder...are you, well, were you a model?"

"And this ties up to your investigation how?"

"Your build is so similar to him...is equal to him"

________________________________Columbina shows up in Ryder´s house and tries to lift him but fails and on the next night, she tries to do the same with Nightcreeper as well. And she couldn´t help herself by proving her strength by lifting the printer machine with easy.

"Oh no!"

Kitty concluded the Sketch TV´s episode and is marching to Kurt Ryder´s cabin and closes the door, the man is not afraid. "People will think we have an affair if you keep this up"

"Well, you haven´t slept around for a while, if they jump to this conclusion ...this would help too" she said and looks at him stronger "Ryder...I think I know who is Nightcreeper, but, first, I need to know, are you into men?"

"...NO"

"Then the only explanation for that is that you are Nightcreeper"

"...." Kurt Ryder looks at Kitty as she crosses her arms "Well, it took you long enough and really you thought I was interested in Nightcreeper?"

"You two would make a powerful couple"

"....I don´t know if this is a joke or not, but, I think you and I would make an even powerful couple"

"Careful, I´m still mad at you for being a jerk"

"You´re a seer then"

N/A: Again, Kitty is human here.

To be fair, The X-men do know about cults. Cults exist for a very long, about celebrities or even animals, all of them are malicious(some are just strange, as one cult workship a goat, no rape, no death and no asking for money but you have to workship a goat), however, The X-men heard news about a cult that may be a trouble for mutants.

Ororo told them a very grim story of her encounter with the cult of the Black Pharaoh, a man put her in a box wanting to give the weather witch as a gift to HIM(“No, I have no idea who they are referring but they all indicating to HIM with such fear and respect”) giving the claustrophobia and the fear of Egypt.

Scott decides to investigate, of course, Ororo won´t be part of the investigation. Normally, Scott would be someone to believe in cults or in what they preach but the Black Pharaoh preaches …nothing.No sex, no death, no money, nothing and after the incident with Jean and Logan…Scott wants to investigate.

(Jean found a cult, about a fish, somehow she changes completely, in fact, she is not the same woman nor Logan is the same man. Both living in a port city that seems forgotten by the time. Her expression was so uncanny, she asked forgiveness from X-men and still smiling widely vow to serve the fish cult until her death…no one has any information about Jean or the fish cult)

“I´ll lead the mission to Egypt, I can do it” Kitty promised to Scott who believes in her abilities, Rogue is still looking for the fish cult and is growing concern as the port city is…gone.

“I´ll help Rogue with the mission, keep contact with us and if anything seems dangerous don´t fight, we just want information for now” Scott instructed and Kitty nods.

Cairo is as hotter as Kitty imagined and getting help from a mutant agency here was easier(a bureaucratic experience as well) and in the end, Jenny, a woman with a German accent shows up.

No one wants to help the American X-men, but, in order to prevent an international scandal(Kitty is very popular and the RH between X-men and the World), they send Jenny, a woman that lives in Cairo for a while.

“I´m looking for the Black Pharoah cult” Kitty explained after the second day and before Jenny could point at the white building in front of her “let me paraphrase, I want to see the real cult, not the facade they use”

Jenny smiles at this and claps hands.

“Yes, people never notice the facade, why looking for the real cult?”

“I want information…They may be a problem to the X-men and I need information”

“Ah, that´s a smart tactic,” Jenny said coming way to close of Kitty to the point Kitty can see her green eyes and touch her red hair. “I quite like you, Katzchen” the woman smiles widely before they kiss.

Well, the cult will still be there, wherever may be.

After 5 days, they found a place that is practically screaming “bad place” and Kitty informs Scott and Rogue about it, Jenny merely watches the scene curiously, oh, Kitty thought, she must haven´t seen a cellphone that modern. (Betsy and Brian invented this type of cellphone to help the X-men in their missions)

“Here is the place, we can´t go by the front door” Jenny ponders loudly and Kitty suggests her powers.

“Let´s just phase” a cheesy joke is made as both hold hand and go to the more desert part of the building, the guards didn´t seem to be making much effort but better be safer than sorry.

They enter in a desert part on the building, of course, Kitty heard loud talks from the above ground, too loud celebrating someone´s death, or how they put their sacrifice.

Jenny, using her powers, is lighting the way, Kitty suddenly thinks she saw enough(the painting, the sculptures, is all too bizarre) but a mission is a mission and she needs to know more to warm the X-men.

“Say, do you know what entity this cult workship?” Jenny asks leading the way.

“Yes, I can´t say his name,” Kitty said remembering how Ororo wrote it shivering “people didn´t refer to him as HIM?” to her surprise Jenny laughs amused.

“Yes, they do” Jenny adds “he has a name, Nyarlathotep, a bad omen will follow if any mortal dares to use this name in vain” Jenny seems far too amused now.

“Ok, guess is a scary legend”

“…of course, but, say, if you have to meet him, what you would do? And don´t be too quick to say he is not real, after all, you and the other heroes fought Galaticus …that´s something” Kitty stop walking and look at Jenny, no one knows about Galaticus as Dr Stranger erase their mind. No civilian or mutant that wasn´t in the battle has no clue that ever happens.

“How did you know that?”

“I asked first, Katzchen” Jenny giggles now and for the first time her skin crawls “if or when you meet him, what you would do?”

“Hope to not be eaten is a start” kitty jokes

“Don´t be like that, if he wanted to eat you, he would have done that years ago, now, if you have a chance to ask anything for him, would you take?” Jenny is not facing Kitty.

“It depends, this entity does not do anything free, regardless of my wish, the price will be too high”

“True, but I like you,” Jenny said and Kitty steps away, now, Jenny turns to face Kitty as her red hairs are golden and red “I really, really like you, as you humans cutely like to put, so, Katzchen did you like my cult?” the skin of Jenny now is turning into a blue shade and she is morphing into a blue creature.

And the once dessert place now is full of his followers, no, his statues, as Kitty examines, no longer human.

A tail(for her sanity, she prefers to think on this thing as a tail) lift Kitty´s head as the creature examine her face(no, her mind) and seems even more pleased.

“So, what do you want?”

“Don´t hurt the X-men”

“Easy, but, what about my brothers and sisters?” now the creature smiles and adds “I can give you more information about this if you want” the creature seems to relish now “ all I ask if you to be my follower, no, my herald”

“I need time to process everything”

“Sure, you humans normally need time, don´t worry I´m always watching” and kisses her check “Oh, you can call me Kurt, if you prefer, I know you prefer man and woman, so either way is fine by me”

Kitty has lots of thinking and talking to do. How you react to realize you have sex with an eldritch?
