Lacy Things & Where They Live

 I've gotten a few people asking, usually after I go on an Agent Provocateur binge on one of the blogs, where I DO go to buy lacy finery in my cup size, as AP does not carry it, aside from their L'Agent line (I have ONE bra, quad-boob happens, it makes me happy though).

So I've made a handy little list of my favorites. Your mileage may vary, obviously, but more and more of us are realizing that we're probably wearing the wrong size bra right now. I'm a 32E-G, depending on the brand. Not waaay outside the standard, tiny window of sizes carried at Victoria's Secret or other retailers, but it still makes all the difference.

 But why does this matter so much, when it comes to frillies? Why worry about good support from bits of impractical lace?

 Wellp. I intend to wear an article of clothing I spent that much money on ALL THE TIME. At any given time, I own all of two t-shirt bras, one nude, one black, for when I wear something body-con. Otherwise, whether I am working, out to dinner, or just loafing around the house in yoga-wear playing video games, I will be swathed in lace like a goddamn elf queen.

Because I'm worth it, damnit.

So anyway, first of all, make sure you're wearing the right size (this post changed my life and back problems, omg).

My favorite (see: only) place to shop lingerie is Bare Necessities. It's easy to navigate and you can shop by size, brand, and price range. I've also had much luck finding my size at ASOS when bikini shopping, but I tend to stick to BN because they flood my inbox with sales and coupons.

As for purdy brands,

Elle Macpherson: Pretty, lacy, I love her stuff so much omg. I may be buying the Dentelle in every color. Also, for those of you who've spawned, there are purdy nursing bras in her line too. Like omg, it's as if you're still a desirable woman after procreating!

Freya: Everyone loves Freya. I had to play a little to find my size by their reckoning, but worth it, and again, BN has great sales if you find their items a wee bit pricy. I love the Gem.

Parfait: Some folks find their sizing odd, but if you have a slim ribcage for your bandsize, like I do (I'm an average-ly slim girl at a size 6, but I have a weird-ass torso under these boobs), these babies are for you. I may have the most of Parfait, just size up in your range.

Even in lace, supported boobs are happy boobs.
