Zbigniew Wodecki 1950-2017

Zbigniew Wodecki był artystą, którego zawsze szanowałem, jednak moja fascynacja tą postacią nastąpiła dwa lata temu po wydaniu we współpracy z Mitch&Mitch albumu "1976: A Space Odyssey", będącego na nowo przedstawioną debiutancką płytą artysty. I na pewno nie byłem w tym odosobniony. To nowe otwarcie, niespodziewane i zaskakujące, pokazało, nie tylko nam, ale i samemu Wodeckiemu, że zawsze może pojawić się jakaś okazja i nawet po wielu latach można znaleźć w sobie energię na stworzenie czegoś wyjątkowego. Wielka szkoda, że świat polskiej muzyki stracił dziś tak wybitną postać, która jeszcze wiele mogła od siebie nam dać. Do jego twórczości, jeszcze nie raz będę wracał.

Deerhoof have announced their follow-up to 2012's Breakup Song. La Isla Bonita is out November 4 on Polyvinyl. They've shared the first single, "Exit Only".

No band is an island.
