Chat Blanc Isn't Set In Stone
I've been seeing a lot of folks (including Thomas Astrucc himself) say that Adrien couldn't have been in the season 5 finale since the events of Chat Blanc would have happened but that's a total load of bull! They're acting like Chat Blanc is a set-in-stone future event when it absolutely doesn't need to be treated as such. It could have been treated as only a possible future that could have happened due to the events that played out in that timeline. But because of how things are now different in the present timeline, those differences could have resulted (and theoretically should have) resulted in a different future. For a show that has a time travel miraculous, you think that Thomas would understand the concept of alternate futures and such.
My sister is so nice to me, I can't wait to try out this game tomorrow ☺️💕
Remember when Ladrien was the sweet innocent two people hopelessly in love side of the love square . And now it's just full on extreme angst.

This hadn't been the first time Marinette kissed Chat noir. As Ladybug, she had kissed him on serval occasions, mainly to save his sorry butt from the effects of one Akuma or another, but this was the first time she had done it as Marinette. Half of the time, and silly little Chat hadn't even remembered.
Although Chat Noir and Marinette have similar greatest fears, they were actually pretty different...
Chat Noir was afraid that Ladybug hated him all along and would never love him, a sign of his insecurity.
Marinette was afraid Adrian would fall in love with Chloe and start acting like chloe, who is someone Marinette can’t be, nor ever wants to be, which is a conflict of being true to yourself and values vs. being with the one you love. Marinette was afraid of Adrien becoming the person she hates the most, and as a result, not being able to love him anymore.
TLDR
Chat Noir’s nightmare: the one you love hates you now
Marinette’s nightmare: you now hate the one you love
ADRIENETTE IS SAILING I REPEAT ADRIENETTE IS SAILING THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PREPARE YOURSELVES FELLOW FANGIRLS & BOYS. WE ARE HEADED TOWARDS CANON PORT
I know Marinette was the closest to you, but you didn’t need to tackle her. I know this isn’t much, but I seriously think this scene is important because Adrien choose to protect Marinette with his body. He didn’t do that for Chloe or Nino or anyone else. It was Marinette. Bug out!
