Ben and Mal

Mal’s POV

I smiled walking into the tunnel knowing Ben and our friends were safe behind me heading towards the car. I looked up seeing Uma walking towards me as I smiled and started kicking the small old bridge away from the tunnel when suddenly I stopped feeling pain...I looked down and seen blood dripping from the wound that Uma had created by throwing her sword to stab me...I looked at her before feeling myself collapse.

Ben’s POV

I turned around looking for Mal and frowned not seeing her “Mal?” There was no answer as I ran back into the tunnel and stopped seeing a horrible scene unfold in front of me..something I could never imagine to happen...Uma had stabbed Mal and was laughing as she pulled the sword out of the purple haired girl, the one I love...Uma than ran off kicking away the small bridge after she had gotten on the other side as I ran over to Mal “Mal?! MAL!

Mal looked at me and I could see how weak she already was which scared me “I'll be fine...let's go home…” she whispered as I clutched her close and carried her to the limo jumping in carefully holding her “Jay step on it!”

Evie looked at me and gasped as she used the scarf she had taken and pressed it against Mal's wound before she tied some other sort of fabric to help kept pressure to the wound. “What happened ?!” The blue haired girl snapped angered that her best friend and well sister had been wounded, and I couldn't blame her for being upset. This was my fault, everything was and I could never forgive myself if I lost Mal because I was such an idiot.

“Uma did this…” I sighed and carried Mal to the doctor knowing he would be at the castle checking on my father

Mal's POV

I opened my eyes and groaned in pain seeing Ben, his parents and someone in a white coat who was examining my wound. I looked at Ben scared

“He's a doctor, best in the land, you'll be alright dear” Adam said as he helped me up to a sitting position slowly, I'm sure he'd been holding me down from thrashing and screaming in pain like I would when I would be in pain...what if I'd said something about my past and what my mother used to do to me…

“You'll be alright M’lady, not much damage was done...although I'm afraid there's some news…”

I frowned as Ben looked up at doctor concerned

“There could be a uh risk if or well when...the royal couple were to have a heir..” the doctor said awkwardly

“So what are you saying doctor ?” Belle asked looking concerned as Ben held me close to him.

The doctor sighed as he looked at Ben than at me

“I'm afraid there will be complications when the Lady Mal is or well possibly become pregnant with the royal heir. Now there's no pressure for that to happen yet my king, M’lady but I am advising you that if or say when you are ready for a child, please have the lady Mal come see me so I can see if there will be major or minor complications”

I curled up looking down as Belle and Adam walked out with the doctor leaving Ben and myself alone...something I wasn't really ready for.

“Wait why'd he call me Lady Mal….” I asked confused

Ben smiled “Well when we got back...you were fine for a while. The wound seemed all healed up and everything so we had the celebration, you joined the court as my lady, I gave you the ring back and I showed you this” he sat me against the headboard as he walked over to the window opening the curtains to reveal the stain glass window...it was Ben and me... I looked like me but part Auradon and part Isle….I couldn't believe it.

“This is you, the way I see you. This is my Mal. I love you and I wanted you and everyone to see you the way I do” he smiled his cute smirk as I looked at him amazed and well in shock “You did this for me?”

“Yeah, I would do anything for you Mal. I'm sorry I reacted the way I did...I was stressed out as much as you were and it wasn't right. I'm so sorry I should have seen how hard this was for you..sometimes I forget even you can’t deal and well overcome everything”

“No I’m sorry...I should have come to you, talked to you more..I was just waiting for you to realize that I am not right for you, I can't ever be this perfect lady of the court, this perfect future queen that everyone is wan...expecting me to be...:” I said as I looked down sighing

THEMES OF RISE (Spoilers) Good intentions dont always end well (Add more if you feel like but here is my take) So I just recently finished the novelization od descendants two so I can say more on this lol. 😜 To get started: one thing in rise if the isle of the lost is show how Uma feels towed Mal and her being chosen to be taken off the island instead of her. Ben had good intintions to take the kids in but, he neglected the other kids I his thoughts wanting just to focus on the four for the time being. Doing this obviously upset Uma and probably more VKs. We look at Dizzy and see she dreamt of leaving the island with Evie yet when Ben came she was left. She didnt know (like Uma) if she was ever going to get away. And then when she got Ben official letter she was so happy. We see that in the mobilization. She took the fairytale path unlike Uma. Ben took in VKs but forgot the others for a period of time. He ment we and it didn't end up well for all. Now he has Uma to deal with. Another example is Mal at the end of Rise she chooses to change herself to fit in as a present to Ben before giving up her spell book. In the D2 we see she is cramming good manners and stressing and going crazy. She has a melt down and goes back to the isle. She did something great but it ended up in Ben getting kid napped. But eventually everything straightens out because she had the support of her friends. [Although I feel Mal wouldn't have gone back with them if she hadn't .....] Now in D2 Ben talks with Uma trying to reason with her and see things with her. He sees his mistakes. His good intintion was showing how kind he was and saying she could come to Auradon. (This one with Ben is fuzzy so I might get a thing or two wrong). She does and come and take advantage of his kindness. Thats what goes sour with his good intintions. (I feel like I got this wrong so just add what you think to the post.) Rising (You can look at my other post for a deeper on this) Although I didn't mention this on the other post. Thus book showed the rise of Hope the AKs are putting in the VKs. Though its more of trust. And acceptance. Hope I dont really know how to Do this one but, it also has to do With the whole Uma and Rise post. If you want more on this just Dm me.
